Trump Room Offers
For those of you here that get offers at Trump, could you verify this? I stepped my play up to black last trip from mid-green, this does not make sense. The rest of my offers are still currently available. I think this is where I'm supposed to call Borgata.

I get craploads from Taj too, more than my play there justifies frankly. I'm going to try and book the last weekend in June now. Will let you know how I make out in a few minutes. I'm a medium heavy green chipper, from what you described above we get similar offers.
I would call the Taj and book your reservation and see if your dates are available, it might have been a computer glitch.
I only had 6,800 tier points and the way I've been feeling about AC lately, I was fine with Executive, wasn't going to book anymore trips to chase that Chairman status....I get rooms 24/7 through out the year so Chairman wasn't that big a deal.
It was a nice gesture, I do have a trip to the Taj planned in July that I booked before I received the postcard.
This has been discussed on this board before, but if your Trump One card was originally issued at Trump Plaza instead of the Taj. Since the closure of the Plaza you can't access your acct. online. The website tries to but then says something along the lines of "temporarily unavailable". Except that it's been a year worth of temporary. I've complained in person and on the phone to several Taj people...who all say they've heard this from numerous customers but that there is nothing they can do. So long story short for me to book rooms at the Taj ...I have to call the 800#. Which would be fine except. 1. They are only open for making new reservations until 9pm most days and I think midnight Fri and Sat. 2. The hold times can be pretty long. The infuriating part is they bug you constantly to use the website, which of course I'd rather do anyway, but can't.
Anyway long story short, I'm supposed to have 7 day a week comped rooms in June and tried for the weekend of June 27-28th. Sat was sold out. Sunday they gave me, along with Monday. So i'll just shift the trip. But while I couldn't get Sat the 20th either (i asked the operator to check). Every other day but Sat nights in June were available to me. Again for those that don't know I'm strictly a green chipper. So not a whale by any stretch.
My host once told me that many times they only have a certain amount of comp rooms available on the weekend, once they're gone, the website says sold out. I also think that because Trump is so generous with their weekend rooms, many are taking advantage of it due to CET being so tight with rooms and resort fees.
I'm glad you were able to shift your trip, hopefully, you'll get them in end with a winning trip.
Trump is at a bare bones staff, I don't expect anything that's broken to be fixed soon.

I've gotten that same BS answer 4 or 5 times. I stopped asking. Glad you were able to get your trip booked.
Best bet is to call a Host and loosely threaten to go to another casino that weekend.
But yea, the comped rooms for the month are a joke.
Cesars has no problem comping me Sun-Fri nearly any day, and I hardly play there, just scraped a few days of heavy play to get Platinum.

My friend got that post card too, he only had 7000 tier points and they upped him to Chairman.
I think they still give $50 slot for your birthday , so we can use each others or go together once in a while.
They also tentatively put the July offers in as $50 Coin Coupon. Meaning they are factoring things to determine whether you are getting slot play or match play. I already know I am getting $50, unless they change it!

You just never know. It's been years since my wife played at the Taj. We we walking through a few weeks ago and she decided to play some slots. She played 30 minutes at $1.50 a spin and we left. I, in jest, said here come the offers and we both had a chuckle.
Lo and behold, in the regular mail yesterday came the offers. Two 2 night stays per week (4 total) for September and October with free slot play, Sunday to Thursday only.
Also offered are 2 comped tickets to Trace Adkins on September 4th. No room for that night but if we really wanted to see him we could get a room next door at Resorts.
What do you think, MrsHeart? Clearly she did nothing to warrant a free anything. Did the computer pick this up? Are they trying to lure her back? Maybe she'll stiff them and see where it goes or maybe she'll play to lure them in. Let the games begin. :-)

This happens often with "old" accounts. Sometimes if you've been away for a while and show any inclination to play there at all....they will go a little over the top in offer to lure you back. Frankly a midweek room and two tickets to a concert, they are hosting, cost little if anything. It's smart business on their part. The Taj is still way down from the almost bankruptcy last year. They'll do anything to lure back gamblers frankly. Take advantage of it.
