Hi,

The WizardofOdds has a very nice house edge simulator and Play for Fun Ultimate Texas Holdem game on his website.

I was wondering, if there's an estimation of impact on the edge of each hand based on outs remaining (thinking normal Texas Holdem poker), and also if someone mucks their hand (poor etiquette as it can void jackpot payouts) but out of curiousity will it be likely to impact Raising strategy (as it does in normal Texas Holdem)?

Thanks!

Right now, the outs are taken into account. If someone were to muck their hand, or just show it to you if you were sitting next to each other, that would change your strategy. If you're 4 to the flush, you expect to have 9 outs. When the guy next to you shows you his two cards that are also in your suit, raising makes less sense (but still might be the right play...).

Doesn't affect the house edge as much as you would think, but can reduce it. See discountgambling.net. You're not going to beat the game (without hole carding), but it's cheap-ish gambling.
