Playing one game to fund another?

Wondering if any of you guys play a particular game in the hopes of winning enough(or some) to fund another game that you may like more? For instance, playing blackjack(insert your game here) to fund playing craps(insert your more likeable game here).

Sure.
For any reason, if nothing than sheer boredom people tend to shift between games and carry their bankroll with them. The nightclub comics and the tee-shirts all say "Life is uncertain, have dessert first" but not everyone starts out with their favorite course in the casino. I play craps and then sit down at Blackjack when I get less alert due to time and alcohol, I switch to baccarat and then if I have winnings at Baccarat, that is my fund for the craps tables. When playing miniBacc my mind is often on the craps tables but I try to win enough at MiniBacc to hit the craps tables again without having to dip into reserves. Interspersed I may have to stints at the slot machine in order to fulfill social obligations, but I sure don't enjoy slot machines.

No. What's the point? If you're only playing negative expectation games, one game isn't going to "fund" the other one, no matter how hard you try. I do play a bunch of games, and sometimes I will do well on one and lose on another, but that is just luck. I'm not funding anything. (More often I lose both).

A lot of poker players will use their poker winnings to fund craps play.

Me too; the games noted above. Somehow the blackjack table doesn't give me the adrenaline rush that the craps table can provide.

Does work qualify as a game?

Seriously, as Teddy points out it makes no sense. But it's more or less common practice to use winnings from one game to play another one, perhaps one with a higher house edge.

I guess the reason I asked is because this morning I was playing(for fun) some blackjack online and was up $100 and I quit playing at that point, since I decided that $100 either win or lose was my quitting point. Since I was up $100 I thought to myself what would I do with my winnings, either pocket them or go play a more fun(for me) game like craps.

If TJ doesn't owe you money, then you ain't anyone, LOL.
I play vP to put in my play requirements for VIP, but I play craps for fun.
They say casino's aren't built on winners... No...they're built on ignorance.

I've sometimes felt that way, but never do it deliberately.

Players with a gambling problem will keep investing winnings till they find a game they can lose at. Pool players who play the horses,
poker players stepping up in limits where they will surely lose, etc!

Negative expectation games can fund another game. Sometimes. If I play my many hours at pai gow and happen to be up some magic amount, I then sometimes go play craps. I don't expect to be up... but if I am.. then off to the craps table, which feels more like 'gambling' to me.
