I am not sure what the difference is. According to the Wizard's analysis of this game, there are only 9 starting hands that you should fold. You will raise in every other situation. |

But there are some hands where my expectation is so high, it would be worth more to use my own live cash than to waste the coupon -- for example on A,A or A,K. I just can't figure out what the critical fraction is. If I am betting $5 + $10 coupon on the raise, I figure I need an expectation of 0.33 to use all live cash, but I'm not sure. Of course any crappy hand I will use the coupon on.
