Cheers! p We Have Assumed Control, We Have Assumed Control, We Have Assumed Control |

It pretty much devotes a chapter to all the major casino games. Kind of like a summary of my web site. It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet. |

Here is an image of the Contents page. I hope the Wizard does not mind. Should be typed out so searches can pick it up. ![]() A question is about the Big Six prediction strategy on page 12. This might actually make for an interesting thread. Would you care to show how you calculated a player's advantage by correctly predicting better than a 65% rate on what half of a Las Vegas wheel would be hit? If yes, I guess we could show what is written as I have not seen this over at the WoO site. A very interesting approach I must admit. |

It would draw the rubes and the women who were too timid to venture any further. In a casino it still has the location and reputation that it earned in earlier decades. Its for simpletons and is beneath the attention of a real gambler. So I was very impressed to see that someone had paid attention to it and analyzed it. The two issues: alternating directions of spin and perceived bias were interesting. The ability or else "ability" to correctly predict which half of the wheel will contain the winner allows a bet on the highest payout symbol. I don't think I'd want to play this of course but it was an interesting read.. |

Me too. I have owned the book for a few years and only read that section after a gentleman I met in Vegas recently claimed to win big at the Golden Nugget downtown, where I am familiar with, using a strategy where he only bet the 40 to 1 payouts. Yeah right I told him. I have NEVER even looked at a Big Six wheel and table up close but certainly did after his TALL tale. I searched the net for anything about gaining an advantage on the wheel and found nothing. I picked up the Wizards book to look up something about NFL betting and hello. I cant for the life of me grasp how to do the math. Maybe the Wizard will share his method. I have a friend that does casino night parties and actually has a casino regulation Big Six wheel and is doing a party close to my house tomorrow night. He said I can come and have fun with it for 4 hours if I wish. Hey, a free party, food, drinks and a bit of a study. Why not! |
