New St Croix Casino in Danbury WI Just Opened

Has anyone checked it out yet? Is the old Hole in Wall casino torn down yet? Are they keeping the old Hole in Wall Hotel? I believe the new hotel does not have that many rooms so I would not be surprised it they also keep the old hotel. Anyone know the cost of a hotel room in the new hotel?

I do believe the St Croix Casino in Danbury plans to direct their marketing towards the Twin cities area. It has to compete with the Hinkley casino which is a half hour closer to the Twin cities so I imagine some good promotions will be coming out of both casinos.

Any changes an advantage player should beware of?

I drove through two weeks ago, and there was a big "play craps here!" sign up. (Only card games in MN...) There was also some kind of country-music themed event out in front. It was kind of odd, because the stage was right out front and basically on the highway.

I hope they tear down the old casino, and soon. There is almost no parking with both buildings up. People were parking across WI35 and walking across the road, which was hardly a safe/good idea.
