We stop here every trip we can and love talking to Tom, the owners son and bartender. I recommend it to anyone heading outside of Vegas to Primm or Jean as a good place to stop and have a beer or two. They also have a small museum dedicated to Clark Gable and Carol Lombard and others who have visited.

And they also offer Video Poker if you need that fix as well.

The one time I went through there the bar had a surprisingly good live band. Most of the clientele were bikers.

Stopped by Goodsprings today for the first time. Nice little spot not far from I-15. No bikers, just a few tourists asking about ghosts. Has a bit of history. Over 100 years old (Built in 1913).

As I recall Goodsprings is where Clark Gable waited to hear of any survivors of the plane that crashed on Mt. Potosi. Carole Lombard, Clark Gable's wife, was aboard that plane. There were no survivors.

I have a feeling you have an advantage on the corners but I could be extremely wrong.

I don't think they even had a deck of cards:), but there was 2 slant VP machines (maybe 3 total with one bar-top machine). I took a quick glance, and the pay tables did not look good (maybe Dueces Wild had the best numbers).

I too have been analyzing the photo and running the numbers. It seems the chicken also knows the number 13 is unlucky (because it is so clean). The number 20 is also cleaner compared to other numbers. My work on this topic continues....
