Gold Strike in Tunica has just opened a new buffet called Buffet Americana. I was there the weekend it opened and the lines where massive but moved along quickly. I'm not sure I have all the prices exactly correct but I believe Breakfast was 9.99, lunch 14.99, and dinner 21.99. The seafood buffet on Fri and Sat night is 24.99.

The buffet is set up in sections. They have a area that is Chinese food with a Mongolian style grill. The grill was awsome. Select the vegetables from the bar and tell them what meat you want and then you can watch them cook it right in front of you. There is a grill area offering Prime Rib, Tbone Steaks, ham, and turkey. The seafood area on Sat night contained a great selection and the feature was lobster!! I don't know if this was just special for opening weekend, but where can you get all you can eat lobster for 24.99??? Of course our buffet was comped so even though I lost my backside playing that was nice. The have fire roasted pizza that is wonderful. I don't think I've ever ate pizza that tasted like it. Fri and Sat night they have a champagne and wine bar open that's included in the buffet price.

The decor was rustic and done with very good taste in my opinion. Gold Strike spent millions of dollars on renovating this place and it looks great.

Next time your in Tunica swing by Gold Strike and set down at a BJ table for 30 minutes or so and have a buffet on the house. All you have to do is ask. I'm a flea and I haven't been told no yet!!

Sounds good. Going to Tunica Saturday night through Tuesday early afternoon. May try to get there before breakfast ends since we're staying at the Roadhouse on Sun/Mon.

I would recommend it! We actually stayed at road house the last trip. Nice stay and a decent place but the Casino at RH was always empty.
