I was just looking at the promotions at Horseshoe Cleveland
on their website for a friend, and saw the following.

Horseshoe Casino Cleveland Honors Competitor Coupons

Horseshoe Cleveland blows away the competition by offering new members double the face value of all competitor coupons, up to $1,000. To participate, new Total Rewards members must present a valid competitor coupon from November 30 through December 31.

The coupon's offer will be honored and given to the new member in the form of Free Slot Play or Free Bet Play.

Website Details Here

Of course, it is for new members only, and I don't
know what it is in response to. If you do, please
post and let me know.

This is an example of why it is not always a good
idea to get a Player's Club card UNLESS you are
going to play a decent amount there.

Existing members can also get a "valuable" prize
too, this week it is a frying pan. I think that takes
care of my Christmas shopping for the old Mother
in Law.
Now that ain't workin' that's the way you do it; Lemme tell ya them guys ain't dumb; Maybe get a blister on your little finger; Maybe get a blister on your thumb.

Not going to find many people who have a good playing history that gets them good offers that DON'T have any history at a Caesars property to be in their system.

Boz is pretty much spot on. TR properties are pretty much everywhere(in print, TV and the internet) and often the first place people go to for their gaming needs.

They intentionally put these offers out so that current TR members see it and will tell friends who patron other casino chains to sign up for these kinds of offers.

Hats off to their marketing dept.

And I'm (mostly) OK with that. If I can do a friend a favor
by letting them know, I will.

Interestingly, I saw nothing promoting this inside the
casino. Don't ask, don't tell ? Or something like that.

Anyway, I was curious if anyone knew what competitor
coupons are out there, if any, that would maximize
the value of this promo for my friends.

I think they mean free play coupons that casinos mail out to previous customers on a monthly basis. My wife usually gets $500 a month from CZR for their LV properties. In that area maybe someone with a history at Meadows in Pittsburg might be able to use them in Clev.

Wait a minute...

If I bring them my $125/week Free Play offer from Scioto Downs for each week in December, then they will give me $250 FP once?

Yes I think so BUT ONLY IF you are not already
a Total Rewards member somewhere in the
Caesar's / Horseshoe empire.

Or at least that's the way I read the rules.
But I guess there is one way to find out.....

Sweet.

I tried to call Horseshoe x3, but nobody there knows anything about the promotion, or any promotion for that matter...apparently. I spoke to six different people, they told me I would have to call when Total Rewards Department is open. I'd better make sure that one can sign up other than when Total Rewards Department is open, you'd think someone in the cage would know about the promotion.

Best bet is print out the flyer/promo and bring it with you to the TR desk. If they claim it is not valid, ask to speak to a manager and plead your case until he gives in!

Unless the trip is very far, you have nothing to lose!

But also be careful that you are not in the CET system, because if they find any shred of your existence in their member program they'll weasel out of it.
