Made a trip up north and visited the casinos in the Brimley area (near Sault Ste. Marie).

Published an article about it:

Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of the most beautiful/peaceful parts of the USA. Everybody should see it once in their life.

#1, If you like the idea of the UP (and mysteries), Steve Hamilton is a good author to read.

#2, Back in the 60's I was in school in Lansing, MI, and one of the student's mother had recently married the man who owned the Sleeping Bear Dunes at that point. He was in the process of transferring ownership (selling?) it to the Feds. Don't know whether he was just being conservation minded or if he got rich. Colorful family. He had a brother that held house parties where he sold bra's.

Nice write-up. Been to Tahquemanon (sp?) Falls, too. First time I ever saw the Northern Lights was up there un UPer land around 1970. Awesome. Also went to some sand dunes in the LP an west side, can't remember the name, but near Glen Lake.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
