Mara Carfagna is an Italian politician.
Italy might follow Greece down the hole. Deeply in debt. Sex scandals at the highest levels. GDP is contracting. No immigration, and an aging population. No large companies, and most firms are closed family businesses.

So if it can't compete it goes under ... but why should this affect us?
The French change governments, the Italians go bankrupt, the English give speeches in Parliament, ... does any of this mean anything to us?

Nobody is an island. The Asian financial crisis of 1997 had a lot to do with the USA changing it's economy to being the consumers of the world.
