Marina Bay Sands is an incredible piece of architecture, but the casino was just ok. A pain to check in to be able to play at the casino, really expensive limits, no bars/booze, limited variety of table games.

I'll be in Singapore later this year. (Haven't booked hotel yet. Suggestions for a cheap bang for the buck one?)

Why is it a pain to be able to play?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

You have to go through airport style customs to enter the casino. You have to use a specific entrance, have your passport validated, and have a profile created for yourself. Just stuff I never see in the USA casinos. I did see in Brussels they made me register to be able to play also so maybe it is a regular thing outside the USA. We booked a room in Little India, it was called One Farrer and wasnt too expensive. Singapore is really expensive so be ready for $$$$ costs.
