Hey guys,

Found about this site through the Bone Man. For a little while now, I have been developing this game called craps baseball. Atyou can play the game. It is exactly what it sounds like the coming together or craps and baseball. So if you have a good sense of both, the game should be pretty easy and interesting. If you don't. I have rules set up too.

I figured this would be the best audience to introduce the game to right now. Anyway, feedback, critic all welcomed. I should have some kind of wagering system sometime soon.

I've rolled the dice a few times. I get a lot of outs.

What is the point of crapsbaseball? Are you planning on introducing wagering on various baseball aspects of the game?

This will be very difficult to learn for the dealers and players alike. I think an internet casino could run with this game, but tough to sell it to the real ones. Would anyone stay long enough to finish a game?

Suggestion: less outcomes for the rolls. Integrate the baseball part into craps. It seems like two disjoint games.

The point of it.. well that is a loaded question. I do plan on introducing wagering in some way, but I haven't yet figured out a way I would like to do that. Ideally, the wagering would also mimic real craps but again I have not found out a suitable method to accomplish such a goal. I do intend it on being a table game. By that I mean, that on my site people can play it like they would a table game such as craps.

Those are goals I have planned out in the near future. Also at this moment, I am working on catering to more sports fan by uploading a "fantasy" league I run with the game. I have played around with the league for six year, and it is where all this began. I started playing around with dice, playing baseball games with them and that eventually led to craps baseball.

I am realistic enough to understand that the game would most likely not sell to a casino, but perhaps if I work on it for a whole, I can build to that far in the distance goal.

Regarding your tips. I developed the game to a close replication to real baseball. And the final stats prove that is such. I have simulated over 100,000 games and the stats come out like the real life major league figures. I could show you that data if you want. So I am not looking to make any major overhauls in the game's mechanics because it works. I tweak some rules here and there however. You getting a lot of outs, is probably a result of real baseball where the average player only gets a hit once every four at bats.

I don't understand what you mean by integrate more baseball into craps. I think the feeling of two disjoint games is because its really rudimentary graphical interface which is not appealing to most users. Do you mean for example, make all the "advances" real baseball plays like stolen bases, wild pitches, and etc. I have thought about that. but I do want to leave something to the imagination of the player...

I do appreciate the feedback though, nothing I love more than talking about my game :-).

You would probably have a better chance if you evolved the current concept into a board game version of baseball, than trying to develop a wagering system. The best casino games are fairly simple, an I think this would be too complicated to ever have in a casino.

Evolving it to a board game would mean it could be introduced to families. Think about it, who doesnt have a Monopoly set in the cupboard.

Turn it into a table top baseball game and you could be onto a winner. Look how big Subbuteo was.

Well having a classic board game is probably just as hard as getting a game in the casino. So I am screwed on both ends of the stick there. Hopefully it can catch on one way or another. Whatever the case, I am proud of it.
