Just got online to get three nights at Harrah's Gulfcoast, formerly the not-so-grand. For my 3 free nights they wanted to charge $29.97 plus tax for a fookin resort fee? Don't they know for $65 I get three nights plus free airfare at MGM? Free 3 nights at Hard Rock? Two at GN or IP??

I'll be at HR next week if you need me, but you'll probably find me at the not so grand telling Gary Loveman jokes!

I've overheard some gamblers trying to drive really hard bargains on room price, room amenities and airfare including air miles.

We all hate those Resort Fees particularly when it ain't no resort, its a casino. And you shouldn't have to pay a fee to use the elevators or the internet.

Anyway, I'd say divide your action between the two places that give you the best comps and don't even try to nickle and dime you with resort fees.

Why exactly are you going to Harrah's Gulf Coast again?

What's next, a fee for Horseshoe/Tunica Roadhouse? I really hope not.
