Do players ever get backed off from the bac table?
I don't remember ever hearing of anybody backed
off and told they can't play bac anymore.

Any casino that would back off a bac player would soon be closed. The only thing sillier would be to back off a roulette player.

Back off in Baccarat?

I could see banning a player if they were caught cheating (capping / pinching a bet), but how can you accuse someone of being an advantage player in Baccarat?

Hell, the casino provides forms and pencils. Are you suggesting that if someone figures out how to use the forms and pencils to the point of actually winning, the casino will ask him to stop?

No way!

My understanding was that Caesars properties closed all their EZ Bac tables company wide for a short time when they learned they were getting hit by card counting teams on the Dragon Bet at their casinos. You will now notice the max bet is $25, as opposed to $100+, despite what the table min is. I don't know if people got "backed off" on the game, but that's about as close as you can get.

Yes, at Caesars properties, company-wide. From what a dealer at HSI told me, they called from corporate and told them to shut the game down after the shoe was over or by a specific time. I believe it was a weekday evening, and the game was getting pretty good action. They didn't explain why until after the fact.

No serious player would bet the dragon anyway. Thats
why my wife bets it every time.

There was one in a Mission: Impossible episode, long, long ago. As I recall, Cinnamon and one of the guys were to scam a small (tiny, really) casino in order to keep the owner from having the money to pay a weapons dealer (or some such, those episodes were fun!)

I don't recall how they were cheating at baccarat.

They would if there was an advantage play for it...
