No opportunity for cheating, certainly not on a regular basis.
As long as it doesn't come out of her check I'm fine with it.
I'm not 100% sure it really is the case (but I'm pretty sure) so I'll just accept it as part of the ebb and flow of mistakes in both directions.

I'm confused, did she count the money out and still give you extra you weren't supposed to get?
I would be surprised by that. If she didn't, she probably gives the excess back to the cashier who may have to count down the drawer for screwing up.
Otherwise...
Quote: AZDuffmanThey likely get written up and put on some kind of review, perhaps eventually they end up being the person who says, "Welcome to Circus Circus!"
If the attendant stood there with the extra money in hand she most likely took it back to the cashier. Maybe even called surveillance and asked for a review to check to see if too much money was paid out. It would all get settled there.
If the attendant kept the extra money then the cashier would be short. Some places give points to cashiers based on how much they are over/under. Once they get to so many points they get a few days off without pay or termed.
If she had extra money why would they take it out of her check? What am I missing? are you thinking the cashier over payed the slot attendant and the attendant pocketed the money?Quote: QuadDeucesIt was a really weird hand pay because she had money left in her hand when she finished counting it out to me.

This make me think back years ago when I worked for a casino. A trusted long time employee, She was a older, well kept change person( 60'ish) She was liked by most of the management. She had been there the longest, defiantly over 10 years. She had the best shift, best days off and even some clout. She was a bit territorial and a stickler on rules(she annoyed me). I felt she was a bit of a hustler, but most of the women were in that department.
One day she just disappeared during her lunch break, no one knew where she was. Eventually management went and checked her bank and it was cleaned out 3k-5k at most. There was robbery and kidnapping talk flying around.
She returned to work the next morning. The police showed up and took her out in handcuffs.
Turns out, she said her son was in trouble and needed a large sum of cash, so she took all the money in her change bank and went to the Stardust. Her plan was to win the money she needed for her son, during her lunch break, then return the money she "borrowed" from her change bank.
In some places the slot attendants have wallets, so they don't go to the cashier to get the money.Quote: FleaStiffThe slot attendant gets hand pays already madeup by the cashier.
