My Worst Vegas Trip

I've finally semi-recovered enough from my trip to Vegas a few weeks back. I go a few times a year, and I usually don't post a trip report (where do they go anyway?). But this time I felt the need.

I stayed downtown, and played mainly craps, ultimate texas hold em, and free bet blackjack. Every single table was a loser. Every single table. I think I was up one bet on a craps table when the first roll was a 7 or 11, but otherwise it was straight downward after I got to the table, with only moral victories to walk away with some money. For three nights I lost and lost. Then fortune shined upon me, and I got the stomach flu or the Norwalk virus or something and spent the last days in bed praying for death.

So I lost half my gambling stake and about half the weight I wanted to lose for 2013.

I can't wait to return.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a similar situation this past weekend in AC. Personal worst in a single gambling trip, ever. I know your pain and best of luck next time.

Yes, but lots of people lose an incredible amount of weight after death, which appears to have been another goal.
