Just a point of curiosity. Hooters probably has the highest ratio of non-gaming to gaming revenue on the strip. It's pretty close to 3:1. But their gaming revenue is in the low $20 millions for the year. That is a fraction of most of the locals casinos.
- Such low revenue didn't justify the cost of the purchase of the building and the operating expenses. It was an expensive building to try and sell buffalo wings.

I think they bought the building at a bad time, when business in Vegas was booming. It would not surprise me if that place goes the way of the dodo bird.
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

The small or old casinos around the Las Vegas strip cumulatively add up to a billion dollar a year business (gaming and non-gaming). Although dwarfed by the main resorts on the strip that is still a fairly big business. Only a handful of movies have ever made a billion dollars.

Hooters, Tropicana, Riviera, Sahara, Wild Wild West, Terribles, Ellis Island, Casino Royale, Tuscany, Causarina, Slots o Fun, Bill's Gaming Hall, and Hard Rock.

Actually Hard Rock should increase this year with all the improvements.

HA!

Those coupons are worthless...!
