Just got back from a 3 day trip and I had read some not so good things about Magaritaville. However, I was pleasantly surprised. While they only had about 5 or 6 BJ tables going, 3 were 3:2. Up until about 4, the mins were $15. Even hit one table each morning w/a $10 min @ 3:2 complete with friendly dealers and a relaxed atmoshere(as expected). The fast service from gorgeous waitresses was an added bonus.

Were you there on a weekend? I played for about 40 minutes last wednesday evening on a $10 3:2 table there, and there were only about 12 players total on the 3 open BJ tables. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and fast service. I thought it was much better than the Flamingo-proper.

Was there 3/16-19. I agree with you on liking it better than the Flamingo and stumbled in there as I was using it as a shortcut to go down the street. I do like the Flamingo though and usually stay there. I tend to drift over to Harrah's where you can find 3:2 tables but it's like an Easter Egg hunt sometimes. It was funny to see people walk right past the 3:2 tables and go to the 6:5 tables. The "bigger numbers(6:5) mean bigger payoff" marketing ploy does appear to work on alot of people. I especially noticed this past trip that the little black sign that displays bet mins, etc. would have something covering it up the 6:5 payoff line like an ashtray so you had to ask if a table was 3:2. They are getting sneaky. Heading back at the end of June and I will hit Margaritavile first.

My wife and I played at margaritaville and found very nice and new and relaxing. Waitresses came by often and the dealers were very friendly. When we were undecided on drinks the dealer chimed in "Margaritas! what else is there to drink here". We did and they were quite good.
