CET comp offers

Can anyone help me with a comp question? Other than triggering a "casino day", does using the show/food/room mailers affect the way CET calculates my future offers (such as freeplay)
I've been getting some mailers such as freeplay ($200-400 a month) and generous food, show and room comps. I'll use the freplay but won't always use the other comps because I get better room/food/entertainment offers elsewhere. I know that using the comps or having my player's card swiped will trigger a "casino day" affecting my ADT.
When I use a host, I believe every comp I ask for may have some type of cost that the host/casino is comparing with my play that may affect my future visits. I've also been advised that at some other non-CET casinos, my mailers are from a general marketing fund and that it doesn't affect how the casino calculates my future freeplay. But does CET mailers have a non-Reward Credit cost that affects the calculation of my future offers (such as freeplay).
There are times I'm on the fence on using the CET mailer comps such as when I take a break from gambling and maybe want to kill some time at the buffet. But I'm hesitant about using my comp offer for the buffet because I don't want it to affect my future offers so I skip it because I'm not going to eat a full meal there and don't want to take a chance that it may reduce my future offers.

It is impossible to figure out ADT and comp offers based on ADT.
What I have experienced with CET is if I use comps like free play, buffet, promotion etc. where they either swipe my card or enter my card number- then I need to have play that day equal to what I usually have played before to get that offer.
My free play offer amount has been going down at my local because I haven't been hitting as well as usual. So now instead of getting freeplay offers every weekend - it is now only twice a month. I emailed host and asked why and the answer I got was they thought that I had been overcomped for the amount of play. In other words- food offers, hotel, promotions, etc were more than they thought I played.
So- if you are using your freeplay and playing a good amount of time = by all means use your food comps - but don't use the other comps if you are only playing your freeplay through plus a little more.
