I recently played in a VP tournament at a casino. It was a timed tournament for 10 hand UX. In the first 9 minutes of the tournament the cards being dealt to me felt like a real IGT machine, but in the last 1 minute, I got all kinds of crazy dealt winning hands. Dealt full house, followed up with Dealt 4 aces, then a dealt flush right afterwards. Then a few hands a straight dealt, then 3 of kind which 2 quads had the big multipliers on it. In the last 1 minute of the tournament I had a sudden burst of insane hands, which felt non-normal to me. It was almost like the machine knew I had 1 minute left and wanted to give me a chance. Is this even possible in an IGT machine set into tournament mode?

I would tell you to trust your gut the tourneys have the ability to (fairly and legally) alter the paybacks to be higher NOT LOWER for players

They do this by generating more spins (hands etc) in the background when you press the spin button and if any of the hands in the background are better than the currently chosen VP hand then it shows the higher hand rather than the one you would have had originally

Of course you have no clue this is happening at least I don’t think it’s a thing that is available through your help screen

I suggest play more tournaments and take a picture of the help screens and anything you can

Did you win the tourney?

I would not be pleased to learn that the tourney was fixed, and your knowledge of how to play in the tourney was not actually relevant.

What I’m speaking about isn’t fixed it’s random it’s simply as if you hit the deal button and it generates multiple deals that you don’t see and it picks the biggest one

Each result chosen in the background is chosen just like it were a fairly chosen and random result but the mechanism has the ability to choose the highest winning result to present to you

This can not in any way do this in reverse it can not choose a lower result it always has to choose the higher one

Any chance you've got a link to the patent or the post where this technology was previously discussed?
(I remember this stuff, but I don't have links to hand.)
May the cards fall in your favor.

i originally found it so its in my posts... ill look

Its called "power deals"... i also for some reason think its been discussed on slot machines and not just VP... i have expressed that i thought it could be placed onto any randomized game.

I won the tournament, and I did feel strange afterwards like I didn't really earn the victory. I do play very, very fast video poker, just over 2,000 hands per hour speeds, and I think that definitely helped considering the people that entered the tournament were not fast at all really. Playing fast in the last 1 minute of nothing but dealt winners in 10 hand UX was the difference between 1st place and 51st place.

Oh boy!

The manufacturer's literature actually referenced, 'Expected Value?' I know a few people who wouldn't be pleased to see that.

well im telling you to take the W and do not feel bad it wasnt as if you would have won if you hadnt entered... the RNG picked you and thats truly more diffcult to do than most things in life ... it was actually random ... its as if you had pressed the button and it gave you a normal result because the RNG picked all of the results regaurdless

It is the same concept of DreamCard but taken to another level. DreamCard has three hands from three separate decks silently and gives you the best out of the three so you don't whiff on the bonus.

I think you showed up in the last thread too I was hoping you would chime in here so I wouldn’t have to look for that other game name
