Never let the fact that something does not need fixing get in the way of fixing it.

Ugh, it looks like something I would have done. That isnt saying much. In fact, this new site stinks.

I've always had huge respect for VPFREE. I think we have the same vision -- to make the world better gamblers.

That said, WoO went through lots of updates under my control and after every one I had 90% negative comments. Everybody was used to the former organization and didn't want to learn the new one.

That said, I would suggest patience. Running the back end of a web site is not easy, very technical, and expensive if you can't do it yourself. The way it tends to be done is at least make an update functional and then work on the appearance and user friendliness next.

For those who want to complain about the new look, ask yourselves how much you are paying for the service. For those who have benefited from VPFREE, consider making a donation or helping them out whatever way you can.

I like how it’s less intuitive and harder to use.

Your points are well taken. I acknowledge that I seem to be in a complaining mood today. I still have time to mature and grow up. But I'm not against improving something, if it's broken. In my opinion, it wasn't broken. Kinda like the new and improved Boyd Club. It's all a conspiracy to annoy me.

How about when my online banking is tweeked to just how I like it, and then the bank changes it. Now THAT'S worthy of a rant.

Oh well, I'll get over it.

I agree that the new format will take some getting used to, and I'm not sure what goal they had in mind.

But I am glad that VPFREE2 is still available and supplying the information they do.

And when you click on the Casino Name, you still get the detailed information about where the particular machine that you are interested in is located. I find that very helpful being an out-of-towner. That is similar to the previous format, which I liked.

Wizard:

It seems to me that their philosophy is similar to WoV, which is to help educate people. With that in mind, have you ever considered a reciprocal agreement where WoV has a link to VPFree2, and vice versa ? Just a thought.

You should have asked that before they changed the site.

I feel like VPFree2 went backwards 20 years. The data is still there. But my eyes burn at the appearance.

What's worse now, the VPFree Yahoo! board, or the new VPFree2 website? It was clear before, but now I dunno.

To be brutally honest, I feel like VPFree2 catered to those that complained the site was too complicated to view on their 10-year old smartphone, and they simplified it even further.

I believe the current revisions to vpfree2 are ongoing, so if anyone has constructive suggestions, just click on Contact Us there and relay them to the site owner. I have done this.

FWIW I don't personally see any features that have been removed and the new site is much easier to use on my phone.
