So, for the entire chart, you start at the top, go down the list until your dealt hand matches the strategy entry thing [just like any other strategy chart]. However, if there is an exception (noted with A,B,C,D,E, or F at the end of the entry), read other table, then act accordingly. So all's good n fair so far.

Unfortunately, I found a problem with this. I'm pretty sure the exception C should be listed on #22 instead of #23. Take this for example:

Kd, Ts, Js, 7s, Ac (King of Diamonds, Ten of Spades, Jack of Spades, 7 of Spades, and Ace of clubs).

If you go down the list, one by one, you get to line #22 [ 4 to an inside straight, 3 high cards (0.5319) ]. Since there is no exception listed for this entry, you discard the 7 of spades and go for the 4 to inside straight w/ 3 high cards.

However, look at line #23 [ 3 to a straight flush (type 2) (0.5227 to 0.5097)C ]. You would not have gotten to this line because your hand meets the criteria of line #22. If you read Exception C, you see something that will likely confuse you:

"3 to a straight flush, spread 5, with 1 high card vs. 4 to an inside straight, with 3 high cards: Play the 3 to a straight flush if there is no straight penalty card. Knowing this exception will add 0.00000020 to the game return."

According to Exception C, you should play the TJ7 of spades and dump the King of Diamonds and Ace of Clubs.

Shouldn't EXCEPTION C be listed on line #22 instead of line #23? Or am I missing something?

I don't know the answer, but I would ignore the exception because the benefit is essentially zero, and I can play faster without the complication to my playing decisions.

Perhaps my question wasn't specific.....I kinda ramble on sometimes.

My question was not which play is correct [I figured that one out].

My question was, or better yet, pointing out, the error in the optimal strategy chart. Yes, the chart is ACCURATE, but, the EXCEPTION should be on a different line.
