Just read this from Eliot Jacobson, Ph.D., Jacobson Gaming, LLC and Raving Project Partner

"During a recent visit to a casino, I noticed a side bet for blackjack called, "Slingo ® Bonus Bet 21." It's not often that a side bet knocks me over, but this one did. The reason? It seemed so beatable, so obviously and trivially vulnerable to card counting, that I wondered how it could exist...."

I believe when they had Slingo in Atlantic city it also had a red/black bet which was very countable. Your hands per hour estimates are to high,this game was very slow since the dealer had to check everyones hand for all the slingo bets.
The mountain is tall but grass grows on top of the mountain.

You are right about the hands per hour, thanks for that. I'll fix that to 50. The version of this side bet that is at online casinos has the red/black and the over/under 13 wagers.

I would love to hear more about Atlantic City if you want to share.

Well not much to share but The first time I saw the game the table was full ,and every player was an AP. If I recall the red/black was an even bet so if you had one extra red or black card it gave the player an edge.
The mountain is tall but grass grows on top of the mountain.

It's hard to imagine what the felt for this game would look like. Wouldn't it be fantastically crowded with all of the separate side bet circles?

Ya it was a mess.They had it at Ballys,then took it out ,then I think they brought it back with some changes but it didn`t last long.
