A Vegas casino manager told me he would be replacing over 10 tables of Pai Gow Poker (Fortune and Progressive) with a new Pai Gow Poker variant which involves community cards, because the current numbers are not good. Do you know of any upcoming hot Pai Gow Poker variant? It is not the 7up Pai Gow in CA according to the casino. The new game is from a small company (not from SG, Galaxy).

Curious to know which casino would swap out that many tables in favor of a new, unknown game...
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

I think 5-6 is the most that I've seen. I think Paris has that many. Does anybody have more?

Mohegan Sun has 10.

Still, I can't imagine a casino getting rid of Pai Gow Poker. I thought it was the most popular of the "carnival games." Seems like it, anyway.

According to the OP, my understanding is the casino will be replacing the felts to implement a new side bet, not getting rid of the games.

I believe I observed three different PGP games at Santa Fe Station. Two Fortune tables with a progressive linked with other Station casinos; two tables with a pai gow insurance side bet and Santa Fe progressive; and one Tiger 9 table (no commission, main bet pushes if dealer's low hand is 9-high, Stations linked progressive.)
