There is a new side bet at the Orleans call Banker Streak. I just wrote up a page about it.

Please click the link and let me know what you think. As always, I welcome questions, comments, and especially corrections.

The question for the poll is would you play Banker Streak?

It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

Could use the existing display board.

The streak has its own counter looking at the rack card?

Wow. I can't imagine this bet getting repeated action. Only ~4.5% of the time the bet wins. And when it does win, it doesn't pay nearly enough to make it seem "worthwhile". I'd think it'd be much more popular if it paid out on a 3 streak minimum or maybe even a 2 streak. I think people are just going to lose so much so quickly they'll quickly stop playing it. If/when someone gets lucky early and hits a 4, 5, or 6 win streak, it will quickly go away.

But then again, with the board showing, and in my experience you see lots of streaks, that could be just enough to get the players to keep playing it, "knowing" a big banker streak is coming soon.

When I play baccarat, I ALWAYS know a big Banker Streak is coming next hand.

I've now read the terms of this wager, and deleted the rest of my comment.

Beets are underrated. This has been a hot topic of discussion in my circles lately.

If a restaurant has a beet salad, I'll almost always order it.

I've heard great things about roasting beets at home. Eager to try it.

I like the guy behind this bet and wish him nothing but success. However, this same idea was tried in Atlantic City about 15 years ago, in both baccarat and blackjack, and it crashed and burned.

Was it crashed and burned by AP's? What's the story, do U care to share?

Let's see how long this bet lasts.
