Table Games - How Many??

Ok all you table game gurus, I am trying to figure out the total number of table games in the U.S. and/or world. If you can point me to a source I can quote, that would be awesome. But I myself can't find a comprehensive list. Finding the number of table games in one jurisdiction is easy, but one list (even breaking out by state/country) is impossible to find.

Just off the top of my head you could try the The American Casino Guide...prettty good source..not always 100% up to date but should be close for total numbers purposes. Only covers the US obviously and only land based I think.

What is the use?
A list of licenses issued does not mean it is equal to the number of games currently being offered.
And any casino will actually staff the tables during the busy shifts but let them lie fallow when things are slow.
