A loss yesterday of -450 and the YTD is now -1745. The +130dogs took it on the chin for a loss of -200 and its YTD is now +574. The 2Xs plays were a loss of -200 and its YTD is now -370.

Anyone that is serious about sports betting has to realize the importance of getting the best lines you can find. When you bet with your home town bookie, you don't have a chance. What ever line he gives you is what your stuck with. If you live in vegas or if you bet online, you increase your chances of making more money by getting the best lines available.

When it comes to myself and stelldco posting picks on the forum, this does a service for observers who like to bet. This is called handicapping handicappers. You can start fading (opposite) our picks or waiting for the right time to fade picks. Some people get angry if they find out someone is fading their picks. In my opinion, nobody should get angry whether people are betting with or against your picks. Posting picks puts pressure on you which is very important for a want-to-be handicapper. Failure is nothing more than delayed success. You will never know if you could be successful handicapping if you don't put in the time and learn everything that is needed to find out.

Well, after looking at the results I can understand why I took ill. My last set of picks was on the 14th. and they were a net loser of -576 and the YTD is now -2321. The +130dogs lost -200 and its YTD is now +374. The 2Xs plays lost -400 and its YTD is now -770.

I finally was able to get caught up with the back data. Unbelievably time consuming. What I see is that I went from a rather simple premise and formula to something that has become very convoluted. Changes ahead.........

Also the YTD that I show as overall is from day 1. I've said many times before that I made a major change on 04/26 and that is really the starting point for the formula that is being used now. Starting on 04/26 my YTD on the overall is still a loss but a much smaller one and it is one that can easily be made up.

We had a good day.......could've been a great day if not for the friggin' Phillies. We had a net win of +330 which put our YTD at -813. Our +130dogs had a net win of +530 with a current YTD of +1582 and the 2Xs plays were a net winner of +330 which left its YTD at +528.
