Wizard's recommendation of the under 9.5 punts is looking good. One benefit of all the DEN turnovers.

Betfair has about 15/2 against at half time. btw I think the odds in the UK were 100/1 on a safety for a specified team as the first score.

Is there any such bet that there would be an Offensive Touchdown, Defensive Touchdown AND Special Teams Touchdown in a game with a Safety, and, if so, what was the Line on that? I don't imagine there was any such bet, so anything on just the first three types of Touchdowns without a safety?

If it is +2500, then his $20 pays $500, not $5000.

If the halftime was 100:1 the pre game odds would have been 200/1 or higher.

(43 to 8) Seattle won with a 35 point lead. Only games more (or equally) lopsided in previous SB are

Game Date Winning team Score Losing team
XXIV January 28, 1990 San Francisco 49ers 55–10 Denver Broncos (45 points)
XX January 26, 1986 Chicago Bears 46–10 New England Patriots (36 points)
XXVII January 31, 1993 Dallas Cowboys 52–17 Buffalo Bills (35 points)

Anybody pick up a proposition bet on being most lopsided game in history?

when us say "might have"

are you saying that i "MIGHT HAVE" PICKED SEATTLE, and over thel last 2 weeks given my reasons ...includung posting the link that Dener have a very weak schedule. According to one accointing..they had the weakest regular season schedule.

whe you say i "might have"...are you saying that i might have pointed out that when new englands undefeated team played a better defense...they lost, and when STlouis number 1 offense played NE better defense.....the rams lost as 14 point favorites in the super bowl

when you say i "might have", are you saying that I might have pointed out that manning if just an average QB in post season as far as wins and losses...and his interceptions are high.

no old buzzard.....its not that "i might have",,,,...I actually DID

while folks like you were in love with an individual....i went wih a better team.

i "might have" bet denver if I felt that they were a better team, that had beaten good teams along the way.

But they ended up being as soft as their schedule.

Revelation 23:1-21

1.) And, he shewed unto me a false prophet, adorned in orange and blue and thrust into Godhood by the infidels.

2.) He sayeth, "Worship not this false prophet, who shalt be marked with the most unholy number of, '18,' because to worship unto this prophet is as worshipping unto the devil himself.

3.) And there shall be a curse on this day in 2014.

4.) Verily, verily, I say unto thee that this curse will be a curse of great opposites. It shalt be a day in the year of 2014 in which that which is sharp shall appear as dull as a stick of butter and where that which is dull shall cut as deeply and efficiently as a well-tempered blade.

5.) And there shalt be no snow and otherwise little obstruction, yet the false prophet shalt prove himself ineffective on this day.

6.) And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

7.) Behold, the first failure shalt come quickly, in the form of an errant snap.

8.) And I, Mission146, saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen enough I spake the following words, "I'm going to go take a leak, the Denver Broncos suck!"

9.) Then saith he unto me, "See thou do it not, for if thy dost taketh of this leak, thy shall miss a Pick-Six that shalt prove most holy for the divine Ploppies."

10.) Replied I thus, "Thou must not speaketh these foolish things so as to deprive me of this leak of which I must divest myself. In this game, the smart bettors have already suffered that most unholy of plays, The Safety, certainly there can be no further debasement in store."

11.) Having spake this, I went to taketh of the leak and the play in question occurred. Witnessed I this play, but only on instant replay.

12.) And he saith unto me, "Seal not your books, for the time of the Ploppy has not ended."

13.) The intermission came without further incident.

14.) What more could the Ploppy have to rejoice on this day, I wondered, and then a kickoff was returned for a touchdown immediately after the conclusion of the intermission.

15.) At that point, the skies parted, the ground shook, and God himself spoke in a booming voice, "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."

16.) "There are those who would otherwise doubteth my existence, but the Endtime approacheth, thus, I decided to prove my existence by bestowing great fortune upon as many fools as possible."

17.) "Blessed are they that ploppeth down in their seats and betteth upon sports while inebriated on this day, that they may have right to the Tree of Money, and find themselves rich in Sin City."

18.) "For he who would betteth in a foolish manner on this day, fortune shalt come quickly, it has been so ordained."

19.) After a brief pause, the voice returned and inquired, "Dost thou doubt?"

20.) Replieth I, "Well, shit, not now!"

21.) The voice returned, "Just so that there be no doubters, Seattle shall also prevail by greater than thirty points."

22.) And millions, perhaps more, ploppies around the world cheered in near-unison, "Thank God."

23.) The voice, now beginning to fade, sayeth, "My people finally believe again."

24.) It has been so ordained.

As I posted way earliier the last time the #1 Offense Contested the #1 Defense in a SuperBowl, the #1 Defense won by 24 (actually it was 27 after look-up), and tonite it is the same, but at +35. Damn, 51 points.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Gee, post anything you want. BULLSHIT walks and money talks.

Post some winning tickets if you have any, which I SERIOUSLY doubt.

And Larry was spot on about a safety.

" what does kickoff returns have to do with it.

all the kickoffs that fly 5 yards out of the endzone, or to the back of the endzone would not have been fielded and gone into the endzone anyway.
Its the punting that places the balls inside the 10 yardline. "

Next he will be telling me Seattle punted instead of kicking off !

But I digress, post your winning tickets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why would I post winning tickets and put their ability to be cahsed in jeopardy. I cant cash out till next saturday when I get back to william hikk in sparks/

I never claimed I won more than anyone else. I bet 800.00 and cashed out 1100 when all was said and done, with a seattle parlay with winnepeg gl, and a dozen prop bet winners that averaged a cost of 40 dollars each, with the only exception was 80 dollars on welker receptions over 5.5..a winner, and the winning margin exceeds the largest yardage loss....a loser. So if the issue isnt if I won more than you or anyone else...then posting my tickets can only hurt me.

iF I had a big loss ticket though...I would post it. What could I lose by doing that.

But knowing your mental capabilities....I am not surprised that you dont understand that the post you responded to was not a post crowing about money. I never mentioned money, or even betting. I mentioned picking the winning team rather than picvking a player that you fall in love with.

if you have visions of bull feces "walking"...that could easily be the first signs of alzheimers. Please look into that old timer.

your incoherant rambling is vexing.

I an concerned that you are either suffering dementia or the after effects of a mini stroke.

I never coached anyone to put money on the game. I never suggested others should take my advice and bet the ranch, or in your case bet the cemetary plot.

I laid out my concerns about denver, and waited for people to exchange ideas....you know other than ideas like you offered....everyone made denver a favorite for a reason.

I even started a thread breaking down the game in detail and asked for opinons, All I got was "go denver" or " i think the final score will be 2--0,.. AND i thik the score will be 4-2. You know mindless lazy nonsense.

I just deletd the post and thankfully Mission deleted the thread.

The illogical offering that my thoughts were faulty unless I bet my home is the knd of thoughts I would expect from a mind that has deteriorated

As you were glowing about manning as if he was the entire team, as if he had attained his record setting figures against high quality teams,...you shined the light on a way not to analyze a game. Dont fall in love with a single player. If you havent learned that lesson by now as you shuffle off.....it may be too late.

You're right, he told me he won $5K on the +2500 line and I messed up the math working backwards (due to rage blackout due to the game, I will claim).

I'm surprised he bet that much on a wild prop.

I was going to make my first ever sports bet today. Was going to put $400 on the money line at Rampart on Seattle +128. When I got back there after checking Suncoast and Red Rock, it had moved to +115 so I didn't bet at all.

Next season I intend to be set up with mobile betting. All this running around sucks. Are the lines the same as in-casino?

Red Rock had the No Safety at -650 Sunday at about noon. Didn't bet it either. Coward.

First sportsbook bet I made on my own was Seattle to win for +105 I believe at Ballys about a week ago. I ran around town gathering prop bet sheets but put it off till the very last minute and just randomly picked bets that favored Seattle (Manning throwing interceptions, teams with most penalties wins, etc).

One bet I didn't make because it was relatively expensive (not that I'm a sharp better, I just don't like betting huge minus numbers) was the no safety at -700. I did end up making a no overtime bet at -725 but the reason why was the bet came up first on the prop sheet and I didn't like all that money in play after that bet.

As a new football fan I still don't understand how safeties work so I preferred not to make the bet since I won't know what to be looking for. I figured the no overtime to be much simpler to follow.

Coward.

Well, hometown line for an underdog at +115 isn't bad. Though +128 looks sweet. I think pinnaclesports had Seattle moneyline at +117 (7 to 6) since Friday, and I was looking for better that I could get action upon. I saw several +120's that I could not bet, and locally it was +115. I too, said no thanks. For me its a case off in Seattle or Vegas and get +115 yes I take it, on the E. Coast I was hoping for an edge of +120 or +125 that wasn't there. To me, the Denver hype wasn't making it, even late on Sat. There was plenty of solid action on Seattle, and no edge came my way.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Up early 5 AM to take my daughter to work. Elderly co-worker in parking lot smoking. Back to work because Social security not enough with husband on chemo. Her daughter-in-law killed in accident years ago and adult son and 8 year old boy living with her.
Son got laid off recently. Makes football game seem a minor event.

But on the good news side, I went to 3 different ATM's to withdraw cash. Rent due today and I always pay in cash. All 3 were out of money. So if nothing else, looks like Bronco's fans are honoring their losing bets.

I wouldn't feel too bad for the books about the safety, 2-point conversion, etc. all happening because the cleaned up on the side and total.

Chances are that most of the money won on the long shots (by the squares) was simply lost later that night in the casino. Very hard for most players to walk away a winner.

I will say the easiest bet was Peyton Manning under 1.5 rushing attempts. I mean when was the last time he ran twice in one game. Now I put my whole $86 bankroll on it at -165 and won $52!!!!
