Need help with sports betting. What do I say?

I'm going to be in Downtown tonight. I've never bet on sports before.

(1) I want to bet on Kansas +5, what do I say exactly when I walk up to the window?

(2) I want to parlay Kansas +5 and Florida +6, what do I say exactly?

(3) Do I give them my players card when I make a bet?

(4) What are some good places to watch games Downtown?

I looked up that game and see the University of Kansas is bet #354. I might add they are a 6.5-point underdog. Florida is bet number 339. You'll see these bet numbers on the board and odds sheets when you get here. To answer your question:

1. $x on 354.
2. $x parlay between 354 and 339.
3. It is optional. If you have one, you should.
4. Golden Nugget, Plaza, and Dowtown Grand. The DG has a nice small book, I'd give that a try.

but I'm assuming that betting on basketball games works the same as football. Apologies for the confusion.

Another question:
(1) On your link for bet #354, it says -6 1/2 -10. I get the Kansas 6.5 point underdog. What does the -10 indicate?

(4) Long Bar at the D

My favorite to watch a game downtown is The 4 queens because they have 99.54 JOB just under the TV'S at the small 4 Queens sportsbook. I can play video poker and watch a game.

The long bar at the D is a great place to watch sports but the video poker games have weak pay tables.
