Doug O'Neil was just on the Dan Patrick Radio program and announced that I'LL HAVE ANOTHER will NOT run in the Belmont.

Just saw this on FBC.

What happens to any prop-bets on this? Obviously single-race bets should be a push, but if you took a prop along the way are you out of luck?

Guess everyone who bought tickets on Stubhub are bummed. Doubt the MTA will need the extra 11 trains.

when the trainer was asked if I'll Have Another's racing career was over,
he said " If I had to wager, I would say yes."

Last night the Dullahan appeared before me in a dream. The head that he carried in his right hand spoke a name.
I did not hear it as i awoke at that moment, with my hands over my ears.
Now it appears that name was " I'll Have Another "

Now for my pick. There are only 2 speed horses listed at 20 to 1 or less in the morning line.
My Adonis is 20 to 1 and Paynter is 7/2 on Morning Line.

Both ran 1 and 1/16 mile at Pimlico. MY Adonis finished a game 3rd by half a length after dueling for the lead all the way.
Paynter won by 5 1/2 length under a hand ride. And his time was 15 lengths faster than My Adonis.

Lightly raced. 1 start as a 2 year old, 3 starts as a 3 year old. Mike Smith rode him for the first time at Pimlico.

Mike is aboard today and might be able to slow the pace down enough to hold off the closers.

We will know in just a few hours.

I ended up with Paynter as my pick. Had him as the last leg of the Pick-3, Brooklyn/Belmont Double, and $10 WPS. Would have won about $300 if he had held on. Oh well.

1 way to win and 99 ways to lose LOL. Mike Smith sets fast 1/4 to show who is boss, slows pace down to 1:14 and change for 6f,
saves ground around turn, then whips left handed from 1/4 pole on, which opens up the rail. SIGH
