Got lucky this past week hitting a $5 Blazing progressive on the strip fairly early in the session. Is there anyway to tell if this was even close to being a +EV game? I remember reading these games are 89-98% hold and about 1/2% meter rise but could be wrong. Setup: $5 Denom, Max bet (3 coin), hit at $8612, reset $5k

In Vegas, the fact you were able to play it, probably means it wasn't good yet.

Yeah, sounds low from what I recall. I think the Wiz has some of those side bet progressive pages with rules and break even points.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I've seen multiple paytables for this, but only $8,600 is way off +EV. That's a very low jackpot for Blazing 7's.

So +3600 over reset is very low? I can see negative but...again this is a slot not a 21 fish bet
