Investigation: San Jose Card Room M8trix

Attorney General accuses San Jose cardroom of falsely booking millions of dollars in distributions to owners as Expenses.

Shows that millions were being made by the place.

All the multimillion dollar companies do this-no big surprise.

The m8rix is really sleazy. They are in bed with the banking corporation, which is clearly against the intent of the law. They kick people out for banking because it means that the corporation doesn't make as much. Total assholes. I hope that they get sued big-time in CA court.

Frankly, I think most of the card rooms are really "owned" by the banking syndicate and the "independent owner" is a pure fiction and pretty much always has been. I'm told the out of work actors who do the dealing at the Bicycle Club in City of Commerce learn this promptly but like the gig because the hours are great for being able to go on auditions. Kicking out the players who like to bank is just plain greedy... so no wonder someone complained.
