What's the probability of this streak, such as b,p,b,p,b,p,b
I plan on using martingale which if banker lose I switch to player
I have $32 bankroll and playing for $1.
1

2
4
8
16
What are my chances of getting to $100 with that method ?
I was betting only on player but I realize it's too risky and I notice that both banker and player goes on 3+ streaks.
Any advice needed I apologize for my previous comments I made.

I can also play for 50cents which gives me 7 chances
50

IM4l.

Just Learn this formula: Oncedear's rule of thumb.

Probability of success < (Starting Bankroll)/(Ending Bankroll)

It's close enough for what you are thinking of doing. It also answers most of your questions so far.

Probability of success < (Starting Bankroll)/(Ending Bankroll)

So for your example

Probability of success < 32/100 = 32%

Probability of going home broke > 100%-32%=68%

Then learn STREAKS MEAN NOTHING !!!

Then learn MARTINGALE IS JUST A FUN WAY OF LOSING QUICKLY.

* I ignore house edge which will always make your probability of success worse.

The formula applies whether you bet on Streaks of Player, Streaks of Banker, Streaks of PBPBPB, Streaks in Blackjack, Streaks on roulette Red/Black, Odd/Even or Streaks of Bacon.
It works almost as well if you flat bet, but is better with Marty.

It's 6l00dy simple. It's 6l00dy universal. ( It's 6l00dy inaccurate but it is close enough)

If you post back another question that could be answered by the above formula, I will block you.

If you ask if the same formula would apply to BPBP instead of PBPB, I will block you.

If you ask any question about the formula, I will block you.

If you ask whether the formula applies if you first wait until you see a streak of BBBB, I will will make an effigy of you, Tear it limb from limb with a rusty knife, burn it and p155 on the ashes.

Then I will block you.

Poor OnceDear is getting Kentry-ed

I'm coining that as a verb: to Kentry someone is to ask a question, show no evidence of comprehension of the answer, then keep asking more questions to demonstrate that lack of comprehension - along with a retreat into a comfort zone built around a set of fallacies

I'm not going to block the OP myself though, I've decided I need a Kentry around to marvel at. Such person may or may not be a troll just pretending to be afflicted with Invincible Ignorance - if they do a good enough job of it that's something to marvel at too.

Lol. Agreed on all points.

I've been Joeled and Rushed too.
Verb: to Joel ( synonym = to Rush )
To demonstrate that a BS* system works by stating (unsupported) results that defy gravity as a way of disheartening the enlightened.
Alternative meaning
To demonstrate one's exemption from the laws of physics.

Pretending or truly afflicted? It's often hard to tell.

Lol at thinking having a degree makes someone a smart person.

Apparantly they don't teach simple math at the school whom gave you your degree.

And I thought I was the only person who did that...

Anyway, Martingale doesn't quite work the way you expect if you include bets such as banker in baccarat that pay less than even money. As a result, calculating probability of success is not as easy as it sounds. EZ-Bacc, where banker bets pay even money but some banker wins are pushes, is easier.

Also, as written, it is very difficult to reach 100, as if you don't win the first bet in the run, the only possible results from that run are break even and lose the whole $32.

Some quick simulating shows that, assuming you are playing normal baccarat, you repeat any tied bet, your progression is 1-2-4-8-16 and then back down to 1, and you stop either when you are 100 ahead or lost the original 31, you will reach +100 about 20% of the time - but since you are, in effect, betting 31 at 100-31 (just over 3-1) odds, winning 20% of the time is a house edge of 4.8%.

blocking is not the same as being suspended here - if you mind your manners you will be able to post

if person 1 blocks person 2, that just means they do not automatically see #2's posts

but more importantly, why ask questions when you have demonstrated no comprehension of the former answers? I mean, really, to ask, basically, "how about if I work a progressive betting system this way [or that way] in the face of the gambler's fallacy about finding patterns in random distributions?"

btw that seems to be aimed at me. I'm guessing you think that I do not have any degrees and that you would have found my weak spot, shame at lack of prestige.

Wrong on both counts.

I tend to be anti-intellectual [esp phony intellectual] and I write in plain English, throwing in hick colloquialisms plenty too*, so I guess you picked up on that. Missed by a mile.

*ever since the demise of Will Rogers, that has gone completely out of style, I know. Meh.
