She's older than even me. I've had a bitter
dislike for this woman since the early 90's.
She's shrill, she's mean, she's a harpy who
attached herself to a successful man like
a blood sucking leech and has ridden on his
back the whole way. She has done nothing
on her own, she's not bright enough.

You do know that for a significant portion of their marriage until Bill became President Hillary out earned him right. Before she was married she was a member of the advisory committee for the impeachment of Nixon and even around that time there was talk about how she might be a senator or president in the future. She was first female partner at her law firm and made a lot of money from investments. So other then being an incredibly successful lawyer she was just a helpless woman needing a man to succeed.

Or maybe its just your misogyny showing through. You claim she's ugly who the hell cares so are a number of the males running for president and it doesn't effect how they govern so it shouldn't matter in the slightest. You claim shes old yet say nothing of Romney running or McCain running or Reagan being idolized even though they are either all roughly the same age or in the case of McCain significantly older. Shes a harpy and mean qualities despised in her yet praised in Christie. Or she needs a man to succeed in life negating everything she did on her own even before she married Bill.

Hillary simply isn't attractive enough to become president.

If she looked more like Sara Palin she'd stand a better chance.

This coming from the guy who said black people would be rioting in the streets when Mitt Romney won the election in 2012.

Thanks, but I'll stick to listening to the political forecasters who actually know what they're talking about...

Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and the Tea Party will be hitting Bush hard during the primary process.
Their guns will be blazing. Cant be trusted on immigration. Not conservative enough.
Bush may get the nomination but will really get beat up in the process.
I predict all the other cadidates will gang up on Bush during the debates.
The Reagan era of speak no ill of any republicans is a long distant memory.
Cruz will take no prisoners going after Bush.

Yes, he's going to get hammered. Let's see if he call pull off the Trick Dick Nixon strategy "move to the right in the primaries, then move to the center in the general election."

I love how liberals love to use the word "misogyny" like it is the case. Same group that attacks Sarah Palin left and right. Same party that brought up Katherine Harris looks when she would not let Gore steal the election in 2000.

Simple fact is McCain was a horrible candidate who wanted to run but not win. Romney did and does not look nearly as beaten and over the hill as Hillary. And yes, she has always needed a man to succeed. She is MRS. BILL CLINTON. That is her claim to qualification. Without Bill to take her she would just be a low-level lawyer in some unknown law firm shaking down small business owners over who knows what.

Hawks are the only candidates with the chance. So far nobody show any qualifications. Obama compared Isis with inquisition, the US has not been around to kick spaniards ass. What the theme of the election would be? Abortion, unemployment and that when people's throats are getting slashed.

And I guess making a good, blue-color living makes one "white trash" in your world?

As to "complete idiot" I am also guessing you would rather vote for the woman who does not think that private business creates jobs?

I don't see a huge issue with EvenBob's opinion on women. It is actually pragmatic and can be summed up as:

1. Women and men think and act different
2. To deny this is nuts
3. Each thinks the other is insane

NOTE: EB, if you disagree I apologize in advance.

Nope, you got it right. We think so differently,
both side thinks the other is crazy. I was
going to post a Chris Rock video on the difference
between men and women that's hysterical,
but it's full of profanity and I don't know it

One question about #1 - does this difference in a woman's acting and thinking make them inferior to men in most things,

And unrelated to this list: should a woman defer to a man?

There probably isn't a sanitized version out there either, since I don't think any of his acts have been on broadcast TV, outside of SNL.

Obama will use Marshall Law to remain in office. He isn't going to leave. Not alive, anyway.

I need to be careful how I answer this........

As to #1 it does in many things though not all. Women are far more risk-adverse than men and think more emotionally and less logically. Women are also far more likely to worry about what others think of them (i.e.: they "want to be liked.") The last one is why you do not see more women in leadership roles. As a leader you have to make the choice to be feared more than to be liked. Women often just do not want to choose to be feared. When some do they go overboard to the point of being hated.

Then there is the risk tolerance. Women just do not have as much of it. Women do not like to experiment as much. Think about when you buy something new. A guy will try to put it together or use it by intuition, a woman is more likely to read the instructions. So the women get it to work maybe faster, but the men more know "why" and "how" it works.

Put another way, the best chefs are mostly men but the best cake decorators are more women. Cooking is about experimenting with things and seeing what happens. You cannot change the recipe much in baking, but following procedure is way important.

Now your biggie: "should a woman defer to a man?" The real answer is many want to but feel something is wrong if they do. I was going to add to that, but I think I will let it stand on its own for further discussion if anyone wants.

You see this constantly on sitcoms when people
are married. The writers, mostly men, make the
women look like they'll go to any extreme to get
out of asking the husband for advice on anything.

They're exaggerating for effect, but not by much.
A lot of women resent the crap out of men for
whatever reason. Camile Paglia says it's because
if women made all the decisions, we'd still be
'living in grass huts and using stone tools'. Women
know men are right a lot of the time and they
deeply resent it.

Prolly before your time but it used to be a common choice given young males who had found themselves inappropriately on the wrong side of the law to either join the marines or go to jail. I still would prefer that many of our youth were given the choice to serve our country versus go to prison, wouldn't you?

In your entire family or life experience has no one used illegal substances? As far as the Palin's go, what do you really have against them? They have worked their asses off and have strong family values.

I am not of the red/blue team persuasion and although I did vote for Sarah for governor, I disagree with her on a few of my core values. But call a spade a spade, she did what she said she would. She stuck up to the oil company's better than any other governor in recent memory.

Somebody needs to stand up for working people. I don't see the current POTUS as being an honest man, I don't think he has kept one campaign promise. Certainly not the big ones like getting us out of Afghanistan, reforming wall street or closing Gitmo.

I don't watch network news at all, so I haven't seen any of this. If that's what he did, hopefully he will learn from it very soon. I was probably the last of my friends to try coke, in 1985. I found out quickly that I am the OC of OCD, and using anything that enjoyable and addictive isn't a good idea for me. I won't condemn anybody for trying stuff like that out, especially with as much peer pressure as there is.

Turning against our kids and crucifying them won't fix the drug epidemic, IMO.

I don't really care for Bristol and am not very familiar with Todd. I am saying Sarah did better than most, whether I agree with her politics or not. I hope she gets away from all the scum bag politico's and just enjoys the rest of her life, eating moose and lots of salmon and enjoying family. I think she is too decent to be in politics.

Wouldn't you want your family to help you if you were getting your ass kicked? How about if somebody was dragging your sister, mother, or daughter across the lawn in her dress? Sarah has got some pretty big kahone's. She knew what it would cost her politically and stepped in to the fray anyway, I respect that. Notice that in this Alaska "brawl" nobody pulled out a gun , or a knife and no one pressed charges. Somebody drags my daughter across the lawn after shoving her to the ground, I will do my best to intervene, wouldn't you? If that is a value that you find repugnant what do you stand for?

My mistake then I guess? I thought she was more physically involved. As I mentioned I have minimal contact with network news so I spoke without adequate foreknowledge.

You and others have more exposure and knowledge as to the actual events. What little I have witnessed "appeared" that Sarah was involved somehow?

It is extremely difficult for me to say anything positive about any politician, but from being there it was obvious at the time [90's, early 2000's] that Palin was sticking up for the citizens of her state. Me included. I empathize with her lifestyle, [sans politics] although her views on labor are different than mine. Also, her family and I would also disagree on fishing issues. I just found her to be one of the more moral pols. I think she and I have different religious views as well. She didn't do much about the oil royalty's but she did do something, which is more than most of the politico's in Alaska that swear fealty to big oil.

I thought when I stepped in there are plenty of the red/blue team members to bash and that someone who was there should speak up. If she [not her spawn] are guilty, fire away. As far as I am concerned you could probably hang 9 out of 10 members of congress and we would have a better country.

I wouldn't expect most people to know specific details about the brawl. It's not particilarly newsworthy. Just a tabloid story.

I was just proving my point that "white trash" is a very accurate description of the Palin family.... And anyone who thinks the Palin children will accomplish more in their lives than the Obama girls is delusional.

Well then, we still disagree. Are you saying anyone who is Caucasian that had some drinks and got in a fight is white trash and will never accomplish anything noteworthy in their lives?

I think every president has had drinks. Some were gunslingers. Look at Teddy Roosevelt for instance. Kennedy was known for taking speed, Clinton for other drugs. Everybody has skeletons. You and I definitely use different metrics for accomplishments, and judgement of what classify's as trash.

The Obama girls probably have more opportunity for royalty as does Chelsea Clinton [who I think is a pig] do to the nepotism clause of oligarchy. Under your rules for achievement wouldn't Bush's daughters get their reward first, then Clintons and then Obama, if you are going by first come first served?

Regardless of who wins the 2016 election (if there is one), Obama isn't going anywhere.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

Many people have pointed out that this constitutional amendment may have a flaw as it seems to allow someone to be elected as VP and then have the token Presidential candidate resign.

You cannot be VP if you cannot meet the requirements for POTUS. This could not happen.

It'll never happen. There would be such an uproar, many would take up arms. President Obama is smart enough to never declare Martial Law.
Plus, why would he want to continue to be President? He could wield much more power and make much more money in the private sector.
It will never happen.

Obama declares martial law. Military says... not bloody likely, pal.

I have often wondered what the reaction of the public would be to a martial law declaration or a POTUS that just refused to leave. To be honest, I don't see a "taking up of arms. I think it would be way more bloodless than you think.
