When playing an online slot with a jackpot, are the chances of hitting that jackpot the same on any single spin if one bets $1 or $10?

Answering the question (from my perspective) would depend on knowing whether the ($1 / $10) bets are equally weighted in terms of their contribution to the jackpot pool, in which case one would expect the converse, that the yield, in terms of percentage of hitting said jackpot would be equal as well.

At Grosvenor, they have games with must hit jackpots which are available to all denominations. I think I've read, and always assumed that the software sets the probability to be proportional to the denomination. E.g, 10 times more likely when wagering £1.00 than when wagering £0.10

I personally think there has been a shift in the transparency in this website and not necessarily a transparency shift but a willingness to accept certain aspects of gaming that had not been accepted before. We have the wizard talking about must hit slot machines and other advantage plays that would have been deemed voodoo months ago to 99 percent of the people who visit this site
