I'm doing alright. I appreciate everyone's interest. The Wizard and I are going to be entering into a bet with each other to try and fleece one another for four figures.

I gotta come up with something I can sucker him into that makes him feel as if he is equally suckering me into something.

This guy is a smart guy, so beating him is not going to be easy. But so far, he hasn't beat me yet.

What is this all about did i miss something?

My buddy John always joked that he and his wife spent their whole lives working on the honey-do list: he crossed items off, and she added new items. "It's not fair!", he always complained "I have to do the work, and all she has to do is write shit down!"

Aaron, welcome back. But seriously in or out!

And this is not an insult or a jab, just a question, are you bi-polar?? you are like a Ahigh I knew a long time ago, easy going, affable, not flying off the handle, I like it because I feel you have a lot of opinion to give that is constructive, but last time you were here you were inches away from being banned for life.

I am not bi-polar. However, you answered Buzzard's question.

https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/off-topic/general/14313-ahigh-suspension/80/#post267224

https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/off-topic/off-topic/11826-buzzpaff-has-anyone-heard-anything/#post192746

There are more than two people who are curious if Martingale will allow you to "beat" the casinos, just like there are at least two people who wonder if I am bi-polar.

I take offense to the question, and I highly doubt that any clinical diagnoses could be determined by postings of mine on this forum. Technically it's not calling me a name to ask if I am bi-polar, just like it wouldn't be calling you a name if I asked if you were retarded. And I'm not asking you, just to be clear to the moderators. But using the hypothetical question to indicate how insulting it is to pose the question to me.

Don't do that anymore, please. And that goes to any other forum members. If I do get any other questions like this that I consider to be insulting, I will simply PM the forum moderators and let them know that the question posed was interpreted as name calling and let them decide.

Hopefully this will put it all to bed, but let me answer all the insulting questions that have been posed on this forum:

1) I am not bi-polar
2) I am not bi-sexual

Very simple, and hopefully this puts many questions and accusations that have been posed and made on this forum to bed. I don't want to read any more musings about my sexuality or about my mental health and I do take offense to all such discussions.

So why would you think it might be the Wizard? His posts are worthwhile, and full of good will?

You've risen to the bait fed to you already.

I never said I thought it was the Wizard. I asked the question if it would be funny if it were. There has to be a reason that EvenBob is tolerated on this forum. That would be one explanation. But I don't really think EB is the Wizard nor have I ever. I just wonder if anyone has seriously contemplated why it is that EB is tolerated by the moderators at all. A parallel musing would be how someone who's posts come across as being so mean and hateful and full of spite is so adept at not getting suspended.

But the musing of my asking the question poses a Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde type of scenario, not saying that the Wizard and EB's posts are similar at all. They are absolutely quite different.

Why do I have the feeling we have been though this before?

And I for the record have stated that you add a lot to this forum and I also believe EB does as well. However at times one could wonder if the 2 of you are the same person who just enjoys playing us. Sounds just as plausable as what you stated, but I am not SAYING I think you two are the same, just saying I think it is possible.

I also think it is possible I am Barack Obama and since no one can claim they have seen us both in the same place at the same time, who can prove otherwise?

That was freaking hilarious!!! I don't agree, but it was freaking hilarious while being the definition of what a Statler and Waldorf insult should be. This was the funniest thing you've ever said here. When you called someone, "Lover boy," was close...pretty hilarious.

Anyway, were EvenBob suspended, you would have had no reason to make this comment to EvenBob, presumably, and I would have busted one less gut in my life.

Do you really wish for me to have had one less uproarious laugh in my life? Why would you wish that for me? I thought we were friends.

In all seriousness, EvenBob isn't Suspended because he does not say anything that is Suspension-worthy, most of the time. I believe he has been Suspended in the past, I remember one specifically for something said to Nareed.

Do you blame the fish or the fisherman? Baiting. A question of nature, circle of life, all that stuff. Don't let anyone bait you, because then you're the fish. The fisherman is naturally superior to the fish, most of the time, sharks often excluded. This is demonstrated because the human catches, guts and eats the fish. That's how it usually happens. The baiter also tends to be the superior poster, provided his baiting is within the Rules, because he tends to be the one who doesn't end up banned.

Be a smart fish, or better, don't be a fish at all. Leave the baiter sitting there with an empty hook in the hot sun, his failure to catch a fish out there in the open for everyone to see. Nothing to do but shed a tear in his beer, and go to McDonald's and get the McFish for dinner.

Did that make sense? Metaphor really isn't my forte.

That was my point in asking Ahigh to cite a few
of my bannable posts if he thought I was so over
the top. He can't even find one, let alone the
thousands he claims I have.

I've said here many times, I was in the debate club
in HS and college, do they even have those anymore?
What they teach you is, one, never ever get emotional.
And two, how to deal with ad hominem attacks.

"ad hominem: an argument made personally against an opponent instead of against their argument"

Ahigh seems very adept at this type of debate maneuver,
but it falls flat on somebody who knows what it is. Never
fall for an ad hominem attack, never allow yourself to be
lowered to your opponents level.

How someone who's posts come across as being so mean and hateful and full of spite is so adept at not getting suspended.

For the most part, he avoids suspendable personal attacks. Of course, being the target of any of them is a particularly noxious experience. But EvenBob does tend to employ non-personal attacks, even though some people, especially those who are overheavily involved in what they are posting, most likely feel the same way.

I'm looking at 3,000 dollars in free play coupons that I'm not going to use.......I've stopped gambling.....for now. Nasty habit. Worse than cocaine.

I brought $1200 with me to the Borgata this weekend and I had to force myself to play. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not really a gambler; I'm merely fascinated by randomness. I love the restaurants and the pool and the wonderful view from my room but the gambling itself, not so much.

Ahigh, the shot you use has no merit . Dice never stays on the axis . You people are wasting your time . Yes, sometimes you get better results , but only because the dice is not thrown hard enough to get completely randomized . You can achieve similar effect by throwing the dice backward or hitting side mirrors or let the dice bounce few times before hitting the back wall. It is not how you beat the game, only when dice rotates around it's axis this is the only time when you have an advantage . Tip of your fingers have nothing to do with it . Scoblete has little understanding of mechanical physics it's just silly to try and follow his advice .

How often have you (Dicenor 33) actually observed / verified that dice stay on the same axis from the moment they leave the shooter's hand until they come to rest, after first hitting the back wall?

I have to think that would be a rare event, given the variables at play.

Great, its time to debate dice control again. And yet the casinos allow the craps tables to stay open. Just once can one of you DC experts break a casino? Not looking for Wynn or anything, but maybe something like MSS or Casino Royale with their higher odds.

In theory, there's no need for the dice to stay on axis to have an advantage. If you can throw the dice in such a way that the end result is correlated with the starting position, you can get an advantage. On-axis on paper seems to be the most logical method, but it's immaterial really if it doesn't work for the thrower.

Mrv, it's extremely difficult to make a flying object to rotate around it's axis . You can achieve this by creating a momentum which by itself is hard enough .There are too many different forces involved . Not only you have to understand of what is required for a perfect rotation , but also your human abilities should let you to perform the necessary task .

You don't need higher odds to break a casino, I don't think. In fact, all you need is luck! But that doesn't prove anything at all, unfortunately.
