I completely agree with you and would never spend a large portion of my bankroll on slot machines - but we all have weaknesses and mine is for a spin or two on a large denomination slot machine. Part of it has to do with me living in Washington State, we have electronic pull tabs here which I refuse to play so I have a special affinity for RNG slots.

97% seems very high for Atlantic City. I would expect it to be 95 or less. I think some slot machines are fun to play, but given my history with them I try to avoid them at all costs. Maybe with a freeplay!

I almost never gamble the morning of checking out of a hotel (whether I've won or lost) - to me it feels weird leaving bags with bellman while I'm at a table with no room to go back too - I always figure my gambling ends when I go to bed the night before ceck out

I usually take a late flight out. So I'm used to having the bellmen keep my bags. Last trip the only return flight was early, so I stayed up late the previous night and woke up at 5:30 am in order to make the most of my time remaining.
I still think McCarran needs to have its own casino, with at least Strip-level games and pay tables. It would make a bundle.

Since my trips are flights, I will gamble all night long on the final night (assuming I have BR left). Some of my best hits have happened between 5 AM and time to head to the airport, after playing all night. I then will sleep on the plane, which makes it a short flight home.

I'm going to be up there this weekend using my 400$ matchplay at Borgata, and playing through their father's day giveaway on Sunday(2012 Jag XJ). I'll probably stop by The Revel Saturday night (16th) and play some hands there, I played some hands in the Ultra Lounge last time I was up there. You going to be there sat night?
