I haven't been playing baccarat for long
About 5 years

I turned to baccarat after being frustrated with blackjack, counting cards 2 hours straight and the count wasn't getting good.

So I checked this game out and it's a winner.

I go to the casino 5 days a week sometimes 6

I'm not greedy, I aim for 6 units, I lock in 5 then keep playing till I loose one bet. At the very least my goal is 5 units a day.

Obviously I don't win every single day, but I sure as hell win more days than not.

I'm not greedy, I bet $200 units I live comfortably and that's all I want.

Some of you my thing I'm a dumbass because I play martingale

But I only double twice, very rarely do i loose 3 in a row. But hey i only walk into the casino with 5 units.

So it's not big chip on my shoulder if I loose 1-2 days a week.

Average is 2 days, but a lot of times I only lose 1 day week.

Ok so the point of my post.

I've been reading this site for a while now and I guess I'm just tired of the negative nancies.

Baccarat is beatable to an extent.
You won't be a millionaire but worst comes to worst you can damn well make an average wage.

Very stressful though

Stick to these rules.

1- never drink alcohol and gamble, almost as bad is drink driving

2- your mind needs to be at ease. Hungry? Get something to eat. Need a piss? Go toilet etc.

3- lost of discipline.
It's hard not betting for 5-10 mins. At the start this was my biggest downfall, I was betting because I was bored.
But be patient only bet when the time is right.

4- don't bet every hand, you do that and everyone knows your a loser.

5- get your strategy and stick with it don't change, don't get emotionally attached to your money, this will make you make stupid decisions

6- know when to walk away, in my case I walk away if I lose my 5 units and walk away when I win 5

Some other tips

I made my own strategy, I download a free baccarat app on my iPad and went pretty much full time on the game until I came up with something I like. It doesn't work 100% but I'm fine with that.
It's gambling at the end of the day.

So stop being negative Nancy's, if you really want to live that stressful lifestyle then go ahead and study on your own and put the hours into studying the game, ask around make friends.

I was lucky enough to deal to millionaires so I asked everyday pols strategies.

So I've incorporated my own plus another two

So what I do is if my strategy and their strategies don't agree I won't bet.
As you can imagine it takes a while for all the signs to align

Average betting is 15 times a shoe

Very boring, that's where discipline comes into play.

A very rich Asian friend of mine says this
And I love it

Gambling is like war
Before your gambling session you need to be prepared like your about to go into battle

Eat up
Hydrate
Good night sleep
Focus

Peace out

P-s - there will be lots of hate on this post

i don't want to say.

So I guess you can call me a tease.

Just trust me on this

I used to work at Australia's largest casino.

Casino are built based on greed, if people knew when to walk away casinos wouldn't exist.

I think my goal of 5 units is very reasonable

It doesn't matter if you only play $50

Walk in with $250

If you win $250

Walk
If you lose it. No matter how fast

Come back tomorrow with a fresh head and get that 5 units back

Beats me as to why with roulette (s$%^ odds)

But with baccarat the house edge is almost nonexistent it is basically a 50/50 game

Roulette is not. You have that s$%^ zero

I don't play commission tables their s$%^ and useless and leave me with all this useless shrapnel.

I play half on 6 which is fine, as I only make 10-20 bets per shoe, I very rarely win on a 6 anyways.

1- your mind isn't clear, your still thinking about your lose

2- believe it or not the shoes are rigged.
I used to be a dealer counting cards and in card room, machines pre set the shoe.

Of course it is

You have two decisions to make.

You don't lose on tie.

The casino doesn't know what your gonna bet, well they kind do hence machines rig the shoes

That's why when I play I always make the dealers manual shuffle the shoe

The only way the casino wins on baccarat is half price on 6

Or if you stupid enough to play commission tables

It is odd that the OP uses the word "random" in his handle, when he professes to have a winning system, which by definition would not be random.

He should explain his betting methodology: certainly there is nothing new under the sun for the casinos to fear, no new AP opportunity.

Also very peculiar that a former casino employee would allege the cards are rigged by the casino.

Five $200 units is $1000 per day. Averaging two losing days and three, sometimes four winning days is $1000 to $2000 per week. Over five years, that's $250,000 to $500,000 in total profits. Congratulations for being able to earn that much money playing casino games. For most of us it's very hard to do. For you it seems to come very easy: eat when you're hungry, go pee when you have a full bladder, win money playing baccarat.

This is where you are 100% wrong. If you continue this strategy for the length of time most of us stay in the workforce you will be a millionaire several times over. If you increase you're bets once you increase your wealth nicely, or you play just a little more often you could probably become a millionaire using this system very quickly.

One question that you didn't answer yet: What is your average length of time playing before you stop?

The only thing that stood out in the OP was,
he wrote 'nancies' and later wrote Nancy's.
That's all I found interesting. Oh, and whenever
somebody tells you what to do in a casino, and
adds 'stay well rested and well hydrated', there
is a 100% chance they are trolls. Adding that is
supposed to make them look legit, like they
know what they're doing.

My non-suspicious, not-an-established-forum-member guess chalks that up to using a mobile format to type/access these forums and the auto-fill ability of the AI to parse context. :)

I've no opinion on the content of the OP. I recently started trying out bac and I kind of like it. It's mindless so there's less pressure. You really only have to make one out of two choices. Not a problem, no harm intended, hopefully no harm done.

I cannot comment on Bac, I have not studied the game.
If you are playing it, then, no doubt other members here will chime in.
We seem to specialize in 'Bac' players, at least in the last year or so.....

I don't know who Odious was speaking to with his welcome. Was it me? The OP? I'm sure tons of stuff goes over my head, whether it is aimed at me or not. It doesn't really bother me. I'm here for lighthearted reasons and don't have the big personal attachment and investment that comes with long time use. :)

Maybe I'm in the wrong place for lightheartedness. *shrug* There are a lot of intelligent people on this forum, intelligible writing, clever and mostly with clean internet manners. I enjoy stopping by here from time to time. Zcore's joke about the dealer being dehydrated made me LOL.

If anyone is laughing at me, behind my back or whatever, um, more power to them? I'll remain blissfully ignorant and it will impact me not at all. :)

I wouldn't presume to teach anyone about many topics including any kind of gambling. Sunscreen though, that is a topic I know a lot about. ;)

Hey only joined last night.

The incorrect grammar is due to my phone and me not caring to fix it.

Someone asked about time in the casino

Times not a factor, because if your using martingale then your either going to win or lose very fast.

So i get a result on 1-2 shoes

Of course you will lose if your dehydrated, you mind isn't in the game it's thinking getting some water.

It's 10am here ATM

I just got up and very much intend to go to the cas soon when I get ready

Hey 2F

It's called being courteous.

You want to have a friendly environment in the casino, as it doesn't take long for word to get around about who you are.

Obvs your not playing in high rollers yet, but when you up there it's not a big crown everyone knows everyone.

If I got $200 then a bloke next to me chicks on $100k (happens all the time)
I will take my bet off out of pure courteousy sometimes they tip you if they win.

Alas I became acquainted with lousy jobs that also paid lousy in my day.

As much independence as possible was what I sought out, this before pay or benefits. Always a crap shoot, goodbye to all that.

As for an improper welcome, that's what I get for listening to somebody say somebody needed a welcome. Probably sounded insincere but all these hearty hi yo silvers sound that way to me.

Hey 2F

It's called being courteous.

You want to have a friendly environment in the casino, as it doesn't take long for word to get around about who you are.

Obvs your not playing in high rollers yet, but when you up there it's not a big crown everyone knows everyone.

If I got $200 then a bloke next to me chicks on $100k (happens all the time)
I will take my bet off out of pure courteousy sometimes they tip you if they win.

so apparently you sit at a table where others are betting 100k/hand as you're betting $200. I'm calling BS

No table is going to have that big of a spread from min-max. If someone is betting $100k/hand they would not be sitting next to you at a table

I don't know if that's necessarily BS, because he said it was 10am where he was, posting at 5pm Vegas time. That puts him in Sydney/Melbourne Australia, most likely. I haven't been there, but maybe they do have tables where the bet spread is that big down there? I myself have been at a PGP table betting $5/hand and the guy next to me is betting $1K-$5K a hand, many times (though not in the last 10 years; good luck finding a $5 table these days), so it doesn't seem completely out of range to me, but I just don't know the situation in Australia.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Define "shittty."

I only request that to put your comment in context; I've enjoyed my job, and it pays well.

I have to say, I had the best job in the world for 25 years, and it paid very well. Not everybody who was in it loved it, but everybody who was good at it loved it, even passionate about it. In fact, Randombac, I have a job offer where you are and I'm seriously interested in accepting it, crazy as that might seem. I worked for your guys for about a year and loved them; they are some of the best in the world.

So, not all the jobs that pay well are s$%^&ty. But you sure had to train hard and then work hard to be good at it; part of its attraction.
