Thank you to all the forum members

I have only been a member of this forum since December 2011. I read it occasionally, previous to becoming a member, but now I sign in twice daily.

The point of this posting is merely to thank everyone the valuable information I have found on this forum. I might add that it is the first time in my 18 years plus of being on the internet that I have ever entered into a discussion. I enjoy most all of postings as they are well written and informative (at least to me).

Since reading this forum, I have learned of the two free roundtrip Southwest airline flights awarded for signing up for a new account, I read a great review by Teddys about the Eastside Cannery and later read of the senior discount they offer.

I booked an October flight to Las Vegas via Southwest and it only cost me $5 per person. What a deal. We have been going to LV for 31 years (as a couple) and I for 15 years prior to that. We have stayed at Caesars, the Mirage, The Sands, Bally's, MGM and up and down the strip. Stayed downtown 6 or 8 times and at the Orleans several times back when we thought it was cleaner and the rates were quite good. Also stayed in Henderson 7 or 8 times. This trip, we are staying at the Eastside Cannery four nights. We even got a senior rate even though the room rate was already cheap.

We have driven to LV several times and of course flown many times from San Diego (where we used to live) and later from Texas, where we have lived for 20 years. We always have a vehicle so we get around easily. We play blackjack several hours a day and of course only the good one or two deck games.

Never have I booked a trip this cheaply. I could not have done it without the information from this forum. I am quite excited about taking this trip and look forward to staying at the Eastside Cannery.
