Walking Caesars to Rio Danger?

If you have any question, then there is no question! Enjoy the walk? I enjoy seeing beautiful young ladies wafting perfume through the casino, but I keep my eyes on my chips while it is happening. When I have no bets down, I will enjoy the lovely young lady's trip through the casino with much more interest. Its the same thing with that fifteen minute walk that you enjoy. Safety matters aside: is it night or day? Does it affect your vision, your concentration, your adjustment to air conditioning? Heck, if you are going from one to other to eat that is different than if you are going from one to the other to gamble. Night vision, concentration, alertness, nasal congestion from air conditioning changes and humidity changes. These things matter. If you are even the slightest more distracted after that walk no matter what the reason for the distraction, then its worth it to take the cab rather than walk. Its not just personal safety and enjoyment of the scenery. Its that any concern at all will rob you of your energy to concentrate on your money being in play. Take the cab, leave the guy a tip, make it a safe and leisurely trip from air conditioning to air conditioning ... and don't jeopardize your card counting skills or math skills due to some faux consideration of enjoying the walk. You are PAYING for that walk and it can turn out that you are paying a hundred times what the cab would have cost you if your gambling skills are impaired in the slightest by that walk. There is no way you can say "it makes no difference"... you would not have started the thread if it truly made no difference. If being watchful and alert during the walk saps your alertness even a smidgen, then that is one less smidgen of alertness you have when you get to the new casino. Do not rob yourself of a smidgen of alertness.... you may need it at that new casino. It may not be the mugger in the darkness that costs you the money, it might be a trainee dealer that costs you the money but you were not alert enough to realize it soon enough. Most of the time it literally will make no difference to you. Most of the time. It just takes one time to be tired from the walk when that gorgeous gal bumps into you and her friend lifts your wallet. It just takes one time to be sneezing from the transition from hot air to air conditioning and not hear the unmistakable sound of an automatic being taken off safety. I'd take the cab each and every time. Do your walking when you have no intention of gambling soon thereafter. |
