Don't know when that will happen, or if it will happen here though. Or if the conditions are adequate for such a thing. |

It takes a lot to get over the fear. Most civilians are unarmed in Mexico, and the gangsters make sure they torture their victims and deface the bodies so that people remain afraid. The publisher of Zeta Tijuana has said that if he had his life to live over he wouldn't publish this newspaper. It stood up to the government corruption, but the personal cost in terror and seeing his friends murdered was too high. However, at this point he has published it for so many years, that if he stopped and let his bodyguards go, he would still be murdered.
