Hmm, that sounds like a reason to hit Vegas... celebrity hockey would be a laugh. I like my hockey in the desert (last couple of times I've caught my local team play the Wranglers. It's not NHL standard, but it's still hockey).
"Then you can admire the real gambler, who has neither eaten, slept through nor lived, he has so smarted under the scourge of his martingale, so suffered on the rack of his desire, for a coup at trente-et-quarante" - Honore de Balzac, 1829

One of my favorite things about the Vegas strip is being able to drink alcohol, inside, outside, and all places public, 24/7.

And when I'm in town, I fully take advantage of those rules.

Golf. I play at least one round of golf every day I'm in Vegas. The prices can be pretty high ($150-$250 depending on the course) but I usually find deals here and there online. I have a couple of favourite tracks (Rio Secco, Bali Hi, Badlands, Paiute, TPC) but I always make sure I find at least one or two new places. I don't mind the heat, even in the summer and the greens are usually in great shape wherever we go.

I play disc golf. It free and it better than ball golf for you in many ways.

When I met The Wizard last December, he told me that he moved to Vegas specifically to be near the disc golf courses.

Check out the PDGA for more information and maps to the courses in your city.

I also like to rent a car and drive to mesquete and back taking the back roads though "Red Rock" (not the same as Red Rock Canyon, WAY BETTER!!!).

The difference between zero and the smallest possible number? It doesn't matter; once you cross that edge, it might as well be the difference between zero and 1. The difference between infinity and reality? They are mutually exclusive.
