I dont know alot about video poker but how in the heck is that only a $30 win? Too bad you didn't bet $50.

Ken
If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong. Playing at the casino doesn't make you a pro any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. I prefer to be hated for telling the truth, than loved for telling a lie. No person has yet convinced me that their way of playing roulette is better than my way. Winners have simply formed the habit of doing things roulette AP players don't like to do. I'm sure AP (roulette) worked just fine back in 1923. Gambler's Fallacy is a term coined by unsuccessful gamblers to validate their reasons for losing. 5.26%, so what?......I get taxed everyday. Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it. Don't play/study roulette for a TOTAL of 9 hours in your lifetime and then preach that a person can not do 'well' with it. Also, don't let the '2+2 will never equal 5' crowd bring you down. TRIAL & ERROR guys, I can't say it enough! When you're finished changing, you're finished.

Thats the picture after the payout....took that one to show that all 5 cards were HELD....meaning I was dealt the ROYAL....no wondering hoping that the needed card would pop up . Here is the pre-payout photo

1 chance in 649740

I was dealt a royal once as well, but it didn't count because it was on a computer program that I developed and was play testing. It was one of the saddest moments in my entire life.

Congratulations!

They say casino's aren't built on winners... No...they're built on ignorance.

I play video poker fairly often and am sad to say that I have yet to hit a royal but am anxiously awaiting my first one. However, the last time I was at Tropicana in Atlantic City I was playing 5 Joker Poker (Standard deck w/ 5 added jokers) which is one of my favorites there and a friend of mine who had never played vp before sat down next to me. He played maybe 100 hands before he got dealt a natural royal flush w/ no jokers for the 4,000 coin payoff. $1,000 later, we did the math and discovered it was over a 1,000,000 to 1 shot with the added 5 jokers in the deck and he just sat down and hits it in his first 100 hands.

To be fair, he does play let it ride fairly often so I made sure to remind him that if he had been playing let it ride, that dealt royal would have paid him 30k on bets of $10 each. Had to bring him back to earth somehow.

Congrats on your win!

I got dealt one a few weeks ago at $.02 multistrike. I was playing max credits (20 credits, 4 lines), and it hit on level 1 for 16,000 credits ($320). Of course, the goal is to get it at the top level where it pays $2,560. No such luck. First one I was ever dealt... just wish it was worth more.
