He then told me sorry, said I deserved to win that hand and transfered back my $10. This is the first time something like this happens to me! If every player was like that I would be up big time by now. |

After all, it's not like he was bluffing or went in with garbage and sucked out... Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown.

The interesting thing about most games, including poker, is that sometimes the better player doesn't win. If the better player is supposed to win every time then you should be playing War (then again, how can you be good or bad at War?). Bad beats are a part of game. Sometimes the work for you, sometimes against you. It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet. |
