A Few Royals

You be the judge, but i think i have just gotten extremly lucky. Back in september i got a royal flush for a $1000. Then in december i got a royal flush for another thousand. Then in february i got another royal in only 5 mins being there for thousand. And 2 days ago i got another royal but was playing dollars and got $4000. I'm not a go every day kind of guy i probably go 2 or 3 times a month to play VP. It's no 20000 dollar win some machines give, but im happy with the 7000 i've made.

You are having an excellent string of good luck. Hold on to those winnings for the lean years!

For the amount of time that you go, you should expect a couple royals a year. You could easily go a year without any royals, though.

I assume you're playing $1 machines and betting max $3 per roll??

I always play max bet the first 3 royals were max with quaters and the last one was with dollars.....And i was up with every one of them. So no i didnt make 7000 i actually made more than that. I dont have a foul proof system. But i bet quaters and when i get up 80 bucks or so i switch over to dollars and use the double up feature on the game to try and get up a bit more. Most the time it works and i get up 200 to 300 and leave. That one time i played dollars i hit a royal. The other 3, 2 were playing quaters on super times pay machine and the last one Virgi you are correct I literally was only there 5 mins not even dealt 25 hands and i hit a royal flush, so yea that one time i quit straight away. Now my quarter switch to dollar method isnt foul prove i do lose on occasion, but i win 70% of the time atleast 100 dollars. It's not breaking the bank, but its better than losing. It wasnt 4 trips in a ro.w either i had some losing streaks in between and some winning streaks

I play ALMOST every weekend, and have for the past 3 years (I'd say for sure 3 outta 4 weekends a month)
I have played since 5/10/08, and I have hit 30 royals (A couple on Spin poker, I only count as one Royal, even though they were on 3 lines technically)
So ALMOST one a month...

Back when there were only single play machines and you had to load coins or tokens in, I averaged about 1 every 3 months with weekend play over a 2 year period. Although it's fair to say I wasn't only playing VP.

Wow - 37 is amazing, especially if that's a low! If you don't mind sharing could you let us know some details around your playing habits - what game do you play, what are your hands played per hour and how many hours do you typically play in a day, week, or month?

Some lucky punter hit two $20,000 royals in 30 minutes on Wednesday night at Caesars.

My guess is that they were going for DIAD (would you really carry on playing after hitting a $20K royal?).
