The issue our friend the op is experiencing is trying to place a don't pass bet, wait for a point to be established, and than take that bet off which is allowed at basically all casinos (in the casino's favor because if a don't pass makes it past the come out, the odds are in favor of the player). The craps game on Bovada (practice play) initially lets you take off the don't pass, but than they Roll button is grayed out. By placing a Field bet, the Roll is able to be clicked. But when you click it, an error message pops up in a black bar that reads: "Invalid bet." Than the system is basically frozen. You are unable to roll, place ANY bets, make changes to bet denominations, anything. Must be restarted to play.

Side note: The game does not allow the player to remove Don't Come bets once they have been moved to a number. Again, this is another scenario where the casino would benefit from this being allowed.

I think the op was just experimenting with a certain strategy, and can't simulate it, because of the inability to remove Don't Pass bets after a point is establish, and to remove Don't Come bets after they are established to a box number.

With our rule variations, the Don’t Pass and Don’t Come bets are not removable once the Point is established. We understand that many Casinos allow you to remove the bet. We appreciate feedback and we will look into if we can change this in the future.
