Small-All-Tall now $5 minimum. Starting this week Mirage will raise the min from $1 per box to $5 each. Information relayed from a boxman last weekend. There was one dealer immediately after a shift change Saturday night that was confused and tried to require the higher minimum. Dealers lamented that if you want to know what will happen here [Mirage], just go to Aria, "We do everything Aria does." They said the min has been higher there for a while.

Side Note: Pai Gow Poker Fortune bet also going to $5 minimum.

Small-All-Tall now $5 minimum.

I saw the same thing two weeks ago at Beau Rivage in Biloxi. Seems as if the wager used to be $5 maximum. Not sure what the maximum is now (I didn't play it), but maybe the options are $5 or nothing. That would make it slightly simpler to keep the payouts straight for multiple bettors.

I wonder if this is being implemented as a "feature" of the game and will be this way everywhere soon.

Wow so instead of wasting 3 dollars you now waste $15. When I play i will bet this maybe one time when I roll for $3 but I think this will make me never play it.

I was playing last night in Hammond and since I was the shooter decided to go a dollar on each. I had a nice long roll and was only missing the two and the ten. The two came out and me and several others got paid our $35. The dealer asked if I wanted to go again on the small, and I laughed and said what are the chances of that happening again. My next six rolls were in this order: 2, 3, 5, 4, and 6. The dealers had a good laugh at me for not betting another dollar. I never did roll the ten.

I never play it but my husband will throw down 2-1-2 when he or I are shooting. I find I miss it when we are on a good roll and it is not being played. It serves as a nice way to keep track of progress and gives an escape when a Come bet hits crap. With enough people playing it really helps to bring the table together. Bean counters in charge.

Side Note: Also heard machine players are no longer going to get complementary drink service. Machines will "rate" your coin-in and issue drink tickets.

Ugh! Is this just a "Vegas" thing? Or, were you hearing it's coming to the wider gaming world?

Was told this at Mirage so it will likely be Mlife wide before long. What's next, chair rental or is that included in the resort fee? "Do Plats get free chair rentals?"
(This will probably need its own thread, feel free, I never play machines.)

I was at Mandalay Bay for a show last week. There were six of us playing two slot machines and the waitress had no problem with six drinks. Everyone tipped her $2 each and she came back for round two very quickly. No meters there. Yet.

No meters in the main bar at Bellagio tonite.

Good News! The Golden Nugget in Biloxi becomes the first local casino to reduce payouts on the ATS bet! Now if they get really smart and increase minimums to $5 each segment, like The Beau down the street, we can have a faster game with less fleas.
