Damn casinos cheat players everywhere, not just in PA, as he (and we) are about to find out. And somewhere a young (assuming 18+ YO boy at a bus station) man is going to find out....unless of course he follows the advice of one of the few people beating BJ in LV. And if he doesn't, there is always the mission where "volunteers" will provide a free meal, BJ expertise and more...for a (assuming small) price.

Welcome to the (LV)
jungle.

A few years after this song came out, at the age of 18, I stepped off a bus in downtown LV at the Plaza.

Don't remind me of this horror.

In the service academies most sleep on the floor so that the bed is already made.

As to change the world by making your bed, there is much to be admired in that attitude, though it surely does not always work.

The Shakers motto was 'Hands to work, hearts to God' and that was the sequence.

I've posted about Dylan Thomas: When depressed, he made lemon marmalade because being careful with the knife and cleaning up right away to avoid an ant infestation was his equivalent of forcing himself to make his bed. Physical activity even in a mundane chore is far better than sitting there getting more depressed. Its often difficult though and I'm sure if I were Dylan Thomas, my hut would have been full of ants and rotting lemon peels.

As to diet for those "on their uppers" there is quite a difference between being twenty and being a good bit older.

Intermittent fasting does work. Best appears to be two days a week of at most 500 calories, the rest of the week a normal diet. Weight loss will take place, triglycerides improves, insulin resistance decreases slightly.

Gorging once a day is not wise. Overloads the liver and kidney, particularly since salt and carbohydrate intake will be high. Watch particularly your fructose intake. Eating an apple is best, eating applesauce is harder on the organs and drinking apple juice is the worst for you. All those pizzas and mac'ncheese are not good for you. Nor are Ramen 'noodles'.

Its better to eat well and exercise regularly... even if it puts a dent in your bankroll. You will gamble better when your stomach is not growling.

From experience, I can tell you there are few things worse than coming home after a bad day and remembering your bed is full of the weeks laundry, which you had meant to fold and put away but instead is in a pile on your bed.
I have a California King bed so just lifting the mattress to tuck in sheets is a bit of a workout.
I don't make my bed everyday, nor have I changed the world, except for that of my rescue pup.
With that said, a man who rises at 4AM and makes his bed before doing his roadwork is a man that will be there when things go bad.

Anyone remember Big John Tate? Olympic boxer and was going to be the next big thing.
He decided he could do his roadwork at 8AM instead of 430. He figured five miles at one time was a s good as 5 miles at another.
What he didn't get is that rising at 4AM is half the battle. He went from being the next Joe Frazier to being an afterthought because he lacked discipline.
Somewhere, there is a point to this.

Yes I'm still going, but I might be flying instead. I'm worried about the corrupt cops waiting to steal my bankroll on the side of the road and it would be much easier flying with a bankroll and getting throigh TSA.

I did find a recent 2014 supreme court ruling though, that cops can't make you wait longer than it takes to write the traffic ticket. Meaning if you deny them to search your car and then they say were bringing the dogs, that would be illegal. Even with that said, if the cops are corrupt enough they won't even care. I guess I could try and scare them saying I'm recording this unlawful detainment and I will sue them under title 18 section 241/242.

Of course the partial bankroll im bringing would be in my shoes anyway, so searching the car woulent matter, but I rather not risk it and having them take me to police station and make me take my shoes off.

The Supreme court ruling is Rodriguez vs US.

Still haven't learned anything about confrontations? If you do this, it would give them all the more reason to be dicks and to assume you have or are doing something illegal. A simple "Am I free to go?" over and over will suffice. As soon as they say you are, you simply say good day and put it in drive and leave.

Escalating the situation by showing you "know what you're talking about" rarely gets you anything in life, AP or not.

Yes, you're in the right. Yes, it would be an illegal seizure of your money. Yes, you could get it back... YES YOU WOULD LOSE YOUR BANKROLL FOR A YEAR OR TWO AND THEN LOSE 30%-40% OF IT IN LAWYER FEES TO GET IT BACK IF YOU DO PROVOKE THEM TO "ILLEGALLY" TAKE IT.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Yea its similar to the stuff I said to the pit bosses. Its just a shame that's how it works in this world. All I'm doing is asserting my rights and because of that I get penalized for it. Why can't the cops just do their fu**in job and obey their oath to the constitution? Instead of interrogating people with lies just to fork over money to their municipality etc.

Civil asset forfeiture has to be one of the biggest destructions of freedom we have ever seen. And to make it worse these cops get a cut out of the money they seize so they have an incentive to interrogate and lie. What king of garbage is that? Absolutely sickening watching this country go in the gutter. I can't even enjoy a trip cross country because I'm worried they will take my bankroll without even convicting me of a crime? How pathetic is that? Seriously why does anyone even celebrate July 4th anymore. Disgusted to be an American.

Yea you're right I probably should just keep asking "Am I being detained" and "Am I free to go" and "I'm not answering any questions" and that should suffice. Usually they wait until after giving you the ticket yo ask if there's money in the car. That's when I'll say what I have to say about not answering any more questions. I was really looking forward to just enjoying a road trip and because of this corrupt country I have to constantly be looking over my shoulder in fear when I'm not even a criminal or involved in any drugs etc
