How much do they get payed? Benefits included? Maybe i should quit my dealing job to do that.

I also have the skills to "accidentally" say 7 a bunch of times on the craps table, and I know how to walk up to a busy baccarat table and question the dealer why spot #4 doesn't exisit..ill add them to my resume

I didnt know i was a secret admin. I guess thats why its a secret..they never told me.

But to answer your question, sure. I assume the 3rd base messer-upper job(Is that the correct title?) is 8 hour shifts correct? Or is it more of a getting payed when you work thing like UBER/LYFT?

You chose to give them your ID. They asked and you obliged. You willingly gave up your privacy. Don't do it next time.

The more you post, the more you reveal how naive you are about the player side of things. Ive already encountered more than once a casino refusing to cash out my chips unless i provided my ID and that was just vegas because it happened in PA as well, and in vegas was told they would give me a receipt for the chips until i give them ID. I even had Gaming come down in vegas and they agreed with the casino that I must provide ID.

Ive talked about the ID thing at the cashier before on here as well. If they ask for ID and then go and make a copy of it or scan it into the computer, take that as HEAT because i was backed off or trespassed shortly after everytime this has happened whether in vegas or PA. If youre cashing out under 10k, casinos do this as an excuse to get your name in case youre an AP once they do a tape review and it's not for any monetary tracking for the IRS.
Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.

This is not true because they do the same damn thing for TITO's. The cage doesn't give 2 doo doo's if you're an AP or not. They do this strictly because the Feds make them do it!

The pit calls the cage or surveillance calls the cage to ID you. Its not about tbe cashier caring if youre an AP, but surveillance and the pit caring

I dont anymore. Zcore has said before though and claims the pit or surveillance never calls the cage to id you, which is simply false. Explain to me how i get backed off or trespassed shortly after(the following trip or so) every time the cage scans or copies my id into their computer. ID at the cage, to me, is a sign of HEAT, especially if youre under 3k, 5k, or 10k.

My theory is he likely has no social skills to deal with the situations he puts himself in and gets himself removed for being an disruptive asshole and goes on a personal record linked to your ID..which is pretty much the reason for a majority of people getting kicked out of the caisno(prostitutes, homeless people and panhandling are some of the others)..because its not easy to get kicked out of a casino on the Vegas strip.

Also keep in mind, im only talking about when the cashier manager SCANS and make copies of your ID in the back or in front of you into the computer. A simple honest request by the cashier clerk to see your id and giving it right back to you is completely different and that is not heat. I take that to be the same thing as when a dealer requests to see id, but when a pit manager asks to see ID that means a whole lot more. Its the same idea with the cage.

A good rule of thumb is :

Manager = heat
dealer/cashier clerk = innocent request

My theory is you never counted cards on the vegas strip for any decent amount of money. Let me know when you do and maybe you wont have any 'social skills' either that you speak of as you get escorted out the door and harassed for ID.

...The OP did not say he had made any previous cashouts, so I assume it was just the $4,000 that he was cashing out after buying in for some amount less than that. ...

Sounds like you’re thinking it’s about winnings. Nope. It’s about money laundering.

Not trying to seem like a female ZenaQueen, but two or three different casinos put my ID through a device and it weirded me out! O.O

Some casinos have that type of scanner at the player’s club. The bar code on the back of many drivers licenses has the data from the front. Just saves keystrokes.

So you and your grumpy self are playing blackjack, counting cards and the pit walks up and asks for your ID. Finish the rest. I want all the details. How is your mannerism towards the pit, manager, security etc?

Gkad i have my own experience to know what is true and what is not and dont need to rely on some casino employee to tell his side of the story. Might work on the majority but wont work on me. I know exactly what is happening and when something is heat, so please move on.

Yes, but your experiences have proven to be inaccurate consistently. Remember when you insisted cards were being removed on you? That's just one of many.

In reflection to all of the various inputs here, its probably not hard for an individual to realize, whether or not they have appropriate social skills, drink while they gamble, count cards, are an AP (whatever that is...), laundering money, a conspiracy theorist or simply just stopping in to play... that there are obviously some shady interactions occurring at casinos. If in fact, everyone's' input on this thread does hold water, its probably safe to say, a person should at a minimum, be aware of any number of potential things which could impact or affect ones livelihood, at the casino. I'm still not sure if I should be concerned that they have my personal Identification information or not? As they say, thanks for playing and thanks everyone for your inputs...
